“The Calming Cabin was just as advertised. Quaint, quiet, well appointed, and well stocked. A lot of extras that made our stay a great experience. “Property touted full spice rack (no garlic) pans (only a few and in poor shape) charcoal supply for grill (wet due to being left outside) fire pit (no wood onsite). They supply the cheapest kitchen sponge and soap (had to watch dishes 3 times) so bring your own. Other than these minor issues, it was a cool place in a remote location, with full wrap around porch with comfortable patio furnishings FYI it's a tiny home. The shower drain is very slow beware so not to flood bathroom. Big loft area...

“We loved our stay at deer lick falls! It was a nice home away from home. It was nice to have the amenities such as a stove, oven, grill and a washing machine and dryer. We traveled with two children and anyone that knows these are a must! I was however disappointed that the “kids play area” was indeed not in the area we stayed. It was over in the waters edge property which required us to get in the car and go find it. Next time I will stay in the waters edge property if available to be closer by...

Our only minor complaint was that the pool shown in the booking is actually about a 30-minute drive from the property, which was a little unexpected. “Cabin was really nice, so quiet, gorgeous vuews, and the pond was nice, we caught some small mouth bass, we let them back in to grow and produce. We really enjoyed it, coming back from town we would see about 5 deer at the driveway, and they came to the pond to get them a drink.”

The outdoor spaces were serene with a beautiful wooded scenery a quiet screened in porch with comfy seating. I would definitely stay in that sweet house again.!”
