“Vi bodde på Glen Hotel en natt på vår väg till Edinburgh. Ett mycket trevligt hotell med stora rena rum. Ägarna var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma och de hjälpte till att arrangera en golfrunda för oss på närliggande Woll Golf Club. “I was in Rm 4, a small twin with ensuite. The window opened (hood) but unfortunately, right onto the alley where the cooking fan vented. It was quite loud but did stop before bedtime. Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. “Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator.
