“The standard is motel-like and good enough. Big rooms, incredibly comfy beds and pillows. Shower not the greatest and worn, but it works. Nice big pool! And there’s a small shop with snacks and beverages. ”

“Great ocean view room but room above must have been rented to elephants who stayed up all night stomping around. Shower water pressure was awful and sink did not drain. Garbage was strewn all over in the AM but it was a holiday weekend. Also there is a surprise $30 a night resort fee that was charged separately when checking out that was no included in the Expedia charge. We've stayed here before and had a wonderful time but this room was not wonderful and did not get charged a daily resort...

“This hotel was mediocre at best. The tv was facing the left side of the room and could not be turned toward the bed so you could actually see it. When watching from the bed you could not read subtitles because of the angle of the tv in relation to the bed. You could sit on the sofa and watch. The air conditioner was dreadful. It never got below 70 and the room was stuffy. I finally asked for a box fan and they gave it to me. We paid a lot for the room and would have expected more of a luxury...

“There was blood on the curtains. Cigarette holes on the comforter. Bathroom full of mold. Staff was not helpful. I had to leave after a few hours and book a different hotel. Never received a refund after providing photos to the booking agent and hotel manager”

“The fact that it was as clean as possible, the staff was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and it was within walking distance of the near-by public beach accesses. Parking was a slight issue, but understandable and it would be better if the room did not have carpet. Overall a great stay and would/will recommend to others.”

“I went to my room and the door stuck I had to pull it to close it so they gave me another room it was fine but the day I was about to leave I saw some roaches coming out the lobby the carpet wasn't clean and the floor was uneven”

“The property definitely gives what you pay for. The rooms can definitely use an update feel. There are minor/simple things that can make the room better looking. Updating the paint on walls maybe some accent decor, discard the bedding if it has spot on them. The overall stay wasn’t bad the pictures advertised should reflect the room my personal opinion.”

“We had a wonderful time at the beautiful, friendly and cosy Grey Owl Inn. Good location if you want a calm place and like to explore the surroundings. We especially recommended this Inn to those who plan to stay for a couple of days - the rooms are very nice, comfortable and well equipped. And don't miss Jekyll Island!”

“This is my favorite property on SSI. Our room overlooked the pool and the ocean. They have excellent service, several pools overlooking the ocean, and beach access as well as a restaurant and bar inside. It's everything you need for a worry free vacation.”

“Ett okej motell. Inget speciellt som var varken bra eller dåligt. Oscharmigt som de brukar vara. Den vanliga frukosten bestående av socker och plastinpackade E-ämnen. Några små trånga bord bredvid incheckningsdisken där man kunde äta. Det funkade för att sova en natt.”
