“We had a wonderful time at the schoolhouse! Everything was as described and our family enjoyed a relaxing, but fun weekend. The building was stocked with all the things that one might need. We enjoyed the time we spent in the schoolhouse and our visit to Mohican State Park, which is also beautiful. I highly recommend staying at this unique property. Thank you Garrett for making everything go so smoothly and for maintaining such a lovely historic property.”

“Wonderful location for hiking, sightseeing, or just enjoying a coffee while listening to birds. Well stocked with everything you’d need for cooking and close to several different stores/towns. As mentioned the pull out isn’t the most comfortable but there are plenty of other options from the loft to the inflatable mattress. Highly recommended if you enjoy hiking or canoeing given the proximity to there park and Mohican Adventures.”

“The cabin itself is very nice and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet property. Though I will say there needs to be pictures from the parking spot to the cabin itself and the steps to bedroom loft. It’s all uphill and probably not ideal for some people. The stairs/ladder to the loft are tight (less than 36 inches ) wide. If you’re a bigger person you will have to turn your shoulders sides to make it through.”

“Brand new cabins, Super cute and exceptionally clean. Less than 5 minutes from Loudonville and about 10-15 from hiking trails at the state park- depending upon which trailhead we were looking for. Highly recommend stay here and definitely we would go back again.”

“Very clean very accessible and LOVED that we were steps from a rails to trails running path. This cottage is small - not much counter space. However it was very efficient. Spiral staircase is not for faint of heart, but having second bathroom upstairs was helpful. But it was just three of us for a girls getaway and we loved it! ”
