“We loved the old house and the old time feel. It had a lot of character and a lot of antiques but also friendly for kids of all ages. They just said put it up high if little hands would touch it. We would love to come to this same house for another vacation. We were all sad to leave!”

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to it.This rental was by far one of my all time favorites from VRBO!!We booked both this property (Yellow Door Lodge) and its sister property next door (Red Door Lodge) for my son's wedding. We wanted as many of our relatives as possible to stay with us. The Yellow Door Lodge was the "next door" house to the "main" get-together house. But that did not deter family from checking it out! “A very nice home with everything you could need. Very comfortable both inside and out. Lots of activities, board games, bikes and kayaks, but we concentrated on fishing from the dock, crabbing, and enjoying the large outdoor covered deck; or the screened in porch when the misquitos started showing up. Very nice kitchen for anyone who likes to cook. Hosts were freindly and helpful.”
