âAcross the street from the ocean. I went for the oportunity to relax, be by the ocean, do some walking, visit local seafood restaurants, and enjoy sitting on my balcony and reading (and inside in AC when it was too hot to be outdoors, but i could still look out my window at the ocean.)â
âWe had 2 rooms, 1 needed ADA access. It did have the ramp, but no seating chair for the shower and it was located near the b k of the kitchen and the view from the window was the storage areas with beer kegs and what not laying around. The hotel location and the other room with a balcony were great. Need to improve on the ADA room though â
âOver the years we have stayed in almost every fine hotel in Newport. We have made the Castle Hill Inn our regular habit. This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic...

âThe hotel grounds, pool, and room all seemed clean and well maintained. All the staff are very helpful and nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is starting to show it age a bit but is still very comfortable and clean. The location is safe and I had no worries about my car and belongings. It's about 15 mins to the beaches to the south and about 20 mins to Newport.â
âLovely unique inn in the centre of Newport. Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast homemade and delicious. Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. Both rooms had fantastic ensuite bathrooms. Comfy beds and amazing air con. Higy recommend. â
âFrancis Malbone House is an oasis in the hubbub of downtown Newport. All the wharves are easily walkable. It was less than 15 minutes to walk to the Elms. On site parking is a huge bonus. Daily breakfast is always delicious. But the best thing about this inn is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. â
âVery comfortable & clean accommodations. Breakfast each day was great. Innkeeper & staff were very attentive & helpful. Will stay at the Hydrangea House again. â
