Watauga River Cabins- Sycamore Cabin

Denna stuga (Sycamore Cabin) är en del av vår "rustika lodge". Vår "rustika lodge" ligger vid stranden av den vackra floden Watauga, halvvägs mellan Johnson City och Elizabethton. Stugan designades för att likna en hästlada och ligger på 5 tunnland med över 600 fot flodfront och består av 3 stugor.

Den nedre våningen Sycamore stuga har över 800 kvadratmeter bostadsyta. Stugan har en queen size-säng och badrum i bottenvåningen. På loftet finns en drottningssäng, tre enkelsängar och ett halvt badrum.

Alla sängkläder ingår - allt du behöver göra är att hämta mat och ta med dina personliga föremål - alla andra föremål kommer att tillhandahållas för dig! Köket är fullt utrustat med disk, köksredskap, brödrost, kaffebryggare och mikrovågsugn.

Stugan har värme / luftkonditionering, takfläkt, platt-TV med satellit (Direkt-TV är leverantör), DVD / VCR, central tvättstuga och gasgrill.

Det finns också en fullständig RV-pad med 50 amp-service, belägen vid floden. (extra kostnad) Husbilen har ett privat däck med utsikt över floden.

Mycket bekvämt för både Johnson City och Elizabethton (10 minuter) samt Roan Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain och Hawksnest skidorter (45-60 minuter). Omedelbart intill lodgen ligger Watauga River som är cirka 100 fot bred och är hem för några av de finaste öringfiske i östra USA. Örtsorter i Watauga-floden är Rainbow, Brook och Brown samt flera typer av bas och olika arter som inte är vilda. Den här nedre delen av Watauga har utsetts till "Quality Trout Zone."

What’s great place to stay! We had so much privacy and direct access to the river. The place was very clean, the grounds were also very clean well maintained with so much to do. We were just a short drive to downtown Johnson City and the surrounding areas. We had such a great time fishing and hanging out by the river here, we hope we get to go back!

Best Family Vacation

We have stayed here twice. This time we decided to bring a few family members with us. My daughter lives in the area. It was the perfect place for us all to meet up, cook, hang out, and enjoy the lake. This place has everything you can think of from bug spray to cooking utensils, literally everything. Perfect family getaway

This is about the 8th time that we have stayed on this property. We always stay with many family members and we appreciate that the “campus” can house all of us. We love that we can make our own meals, eat them all together and also play on the property (we had some heated wiggle ball games going) and fish and relax with the river backdrop. The place holds many dear memories for us. This time we had 13 of us staying with 4 extended family join us each day for food and fellowship.

Weekend retreat

We have been coming to Johnson City and staying at these cabins for years. We have stayed in every unit depending on the size needs for that trip. No matter what, the view is just the best! Sitting in a rocking chair listening to the river is just so peaceful.If there is ever an issue, you get immediate response.

Beautiful Mountain Weekend w Friends!

Gary & Patti's cabin was perfect for a group of 4 friends. We went on a fly fishing trip on the South Holston river, and it was close enough to get an early start on the day. The cabin itself is great. Plenty of room and Wifi/streaming worked well. We used the grill and the fire pit a lot. It was secluded with plenty of fun amenities. Would highly recommend if you want an outdoor stay with modern amenities! Property manager, Phil, was great :)

Another day in Paradise

We have stayed at the Wautauga River Cabins several times. We refer to it as our home away from home. I can not say enough good things about this place. The property owners Patti and Gary are always there to answer questions and to keep you informed of things of importance with the cabin or with fishing the river. The property managers Phil and Alesa are always to there to assist with any needs that may arise. You can just mention that something would be nice and then the next time you go it is there. We consider them family now. This last time we wanted to bless them with a cookout because they had to deal with no electricity and lots of river cleanup after the Helene storm. But when they came they blessed us with a desert that was absolutely delicious. They are such nice people. If you should have an issue, they are always there to get it fixed in a timely manner. The cabins are always clean and the property is always tidy. The fall and holiday decor is a nice touch. We are so thankful that the rising waters didn’t harm these beautiful cabins. Were already thinking about when we will be able to return for our next get away.
