“This unit was perfect for my stay in Alexandria. I was visiting my Dad in the hospital nearby and this unit had everything I needed. It rained while I was there and that made this unit a bright spot to land each day. The washer/dryer were perfect for the small loads I needed during my stay. “This home was beyond filthy with stained sheets, stained shower, maggots , mildew and mold. The smell inside could possibly be interior mold. We didnt even stay after seeing it upon check in. The owner refused to refund our money and stopped responding to my messages and claimed he was working with VRBO but has kept ALL of our funds. We work with the local military base and were there for work but this place is beyond anything i have ever seen. If i could post pictures i would.”

“Overall the property we stayed at was 5 star for the price point per night, kitchen is not equipped to cook, dishes are minimal and the kitchen was “used”. “Enjoyed our stay! I liked that there was an alarm. We came in late at night, the area looked a little sketchy at night, had a better view in the daytime, all was good. The location is close to all the stores you could possibly need. The water pressure was less than stellar, especially if you have thick curly hair, lol. The beds were comfortable, but some of the sheets had stains. Over all a pleasant stay, I would stay again. Thank you!!”

The Guest House Historic Mansion

2/10 Väldigt dåligt

"Terrible experience at this guset house. When we arrived tyou couldn not flush and the girl at the front desk promised us to fix that. We took a walk at the town and went back, still not fixed but she promised us the plumber was on his way. After a couple of hours we come back again and were promised it was fixed. Guess what, it was not and there was no plumber!! She lied to us!! When we wanted to change room there was none, even though there were two avalible on the website! When we wanted to leave and hove our money back she all of a sudden had a room! It was so much small but we were so tired after a terrible day that we had to take that. We did not get an excuse or complimentary, I asked the manager to contact me but she did not!! We would like some refound because of not having a functional room until 9 pm and a much smaller room with one queenbed instead of two. We paid for a large room with two quennbed and shoul have a refound for the price difference. I would never recommend this guest house to anyone, bad service and very old bathrooms and also many steps to reach the rooms!"
