The Space:

Sunset Jewel provides guests with the incredible experience of living like locals do in Joshua Tree. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and surrounded by towering hills, this downtown Joshua Tree home gives guests the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. The massive, wide-open desert wilderness of Joshua Tree National Park is just minutes down the road to enjoy, but you also don't have to sacrifice the comforts of shops and restaurants, which are less than a mile away.



The spacious and stylish living room is equipped with a smart TV, unique mural, comfortable couch, and a hanging chair. The home is designed with an open concept - the living room and kitchen are open to each other and allow everyone to enjoy each other's company while in the home.



Each of the bedrooms is equipped with comfortable queen mattresses, and clothing storage. The master bedroom has an on-suite bathroom as well. There is a private desk space in one of the bedrooms, perfect for working from home when necessary.



The large, fully fenced backyard is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the park. With a large 6-person hot tub, cowboy tub soaking pool, hammock and dining table for 6, there's no shortage of ways to unwind, day or night.

Guest Access:

You'll have access to the entire house, front and backyards (backyard is fully fenced), patio, as well as yoga equipment for relaxation. Please note that there is a garage space onsite that is used for supply storage that is locked to guests.

We are located in a quiet downtown Joshua Tree neighborhood.

Getting Around:

We are just a few blocks away from downtown Joshua Tree and the farmers market, and about 8 minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park.



We have a long driveway that can accommodate up to 2 large cars or 3 smaller cars. (No parking is permitted at anytime on the street. The county issues fines for off street parking and neighbors are vigilant about calling in complaints.)



A personal vehicle is recommended in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Other Things to Note:

Parking:

Please note that there is a zero-tolerance policy with street parking in this neighborhood. All guests and visitors of the house MUST PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY ONLY. The county issues hefty citations to homeowners for any car parked on the street, even momentarily. Guests will be responsible for any citations incurred during their stay.



Cowboy Tub and Hot Tub Service:

The cowboy tub pool and hot tub are serviced Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 10am and 3pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



Cowboy Tub Availability:

The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during winter months (November - February) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking.



Dogs:

Sunset Jewel welcomes your dogs! Please note that there is a $50 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Cats and other pets are not allowed.



Guided Yoga, Sound Baths, Meditation, Massages & Personal Chefs:

Please reach out to us if you'd like recommendations for yoga instructors, guided sound baths, guided meditation, massages or personal chefs. Often times vendors are available come directly to the house.



Trash & Recycling Service:

The trash and recycling cans are located to the left side of the house. The trash company will bring the cans out to empty and back in.



Cleaning Fee:

100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to our hardworking cleaners.



Bbq grill/Firepit :

We do our best to ensure propane tanks are filled, however we don't guarantee this. If you happen to run out during your stay, they can be exchanged at any local store or gas station.
