This place definitely has potential to be great. We really loved the 90s theme and overall space. However, we did run into a few issues while staying here. While we loved that the space had a washer/dryer, the closet it was inside of smelled horrible. The smell became worse when we used the hot water in the shower (the water tank was in the same closet). We kept the closet door closed for our entire stay because of the smell. It did make our stay slightly unpleasant, especially because of its close proximity to the bed. We also found the bed to be pretty uncomfortable. The shower liner was yellow and stained along the bottom, and the water took quite awhile to heat up. We also experienced a pretty annoying flickering light above the dining table. Lastly, the internet was terrible despite restarting the router. While the space mostly worked for our needs, there’s definitely room for improvement.
The most disappointing part of this experience was when we reached out to the owner about the awful smell in the closet during our stay. We were told that they would reach out closer to our check out, which they did not. I reached out again, and we were told that the issue needed to be investigated by their grounds team, and then they would get back to us. They did not. So I reached out (once again), and we were quickly told that their team found nothing related to the smell. There was no attempt to make the situation right on their end. We wouldn’t stay here again.
