âOne has to remember this hotel has seen many seasons, eclectic & quaint for sure yet spotless. Staff was so friendly and informative. The room and bed was large and comfy, enjoyed our river facing balcony and the main floor porch area. Definitely would stay here again. â
âEverything was fine until we where leaving. The elevator was not working. I had just had back surgery a few weeks ago. With the elevator I had to go down four flights of stairs. It hurt me so bad that I was in so much pain that i could hardly walk. We ended up leaving and going home. We had planed on spending the day shopping and enjoying are selfs. (pretty said)

âAll in all we had a good experience. The room was comfortable and the beds were pretty good. The property as a whole seems to have some age to it. Some touch up painting needs to be done, and the carpet in the room was worn a bit. The free breakfast was bad on Sunday morning. The eggs were not good at all. Went with the waffles and fruit. Staff was friendly and helpful. No foul there. The pool was clean and inviting after a long day in town shopping and sight seeing. Good job Hampton!â
âThe hotel was very clean & new. Front desk clerks were very helpful & courteous. The pool water was a little too cold, but wasn't bad or a problem. The handle on the bathroom in a handicap room needed a minor repair, but again, wasn't bad. In all, it was a great stay for me, my sister, & our two dogs (the hotel is definitely pet-friendly), But the star of the show was the guy taking care of the breakfast area.
