âAbsolutely lovely apartment, very high standard. Friendly, conscientious owner, great location with parking, an easy walk in to Kotor or drive to the Montenegro sights. â

The only downside we experienced was the lack of an actual beach - the free access to sunbeds were great, but the pontoon by the restaurant was a bit shaded and it'd tricky to jump around if you wan't to catch the sun the full day. â

âWe had a wonderful 7-night-stay at MonteBay Perla. Perfect location for a family trip (5km outside of Kotor, with a little beach right in the front of the hotel), nice and kind staff, free parking at the hotel (very practical as we learned that parking can be a nightmare around the Bay, at least in July), magical view from the restaurant, the room was fresh, spacey and clean (we had a Junior Suite in the upper building) with a nice, big balcony. The breakfast was great with fresh fruit,...

Good place to stay nearby Kotor with 10 min walk. Place run by a nice family with friendly dog Ice. We had the green room at the top with a lovely view over Kotor bay. Every day a new crousingship docks the bay. Fun to watch.
Room is small but works for two people, you share the tarrace with room next door but there are separated with some privacy.
Free parking is great (expensive in Montenegro). Wifi best ever bad. 150 mbit down.

âNegative experience. The room was dirty, facilities broken, e.g.: WC and sink were leaking water. When telling this to the host, he mentioned that rooms are cleaned every day, if that is true (which we do not believe), the standard of cleaning is equal to non-existent. Also he said that someone will be sent to solve the bathroom leakages, but it did not happen. â

As a small boutique hotel they will never be able to compete with larger hotels but teh experiene was transformed by the fact that they consistently went out of their way to be helpful and one staff member especially ( a lovely lady from Bali) was a goldmine of helpful information about local facilities and options for sightseeing/recreation and good restaurants in the area.
