âEverything was wonderful until thr toilet almost overflowed. The day person placed the plunger outside her door. We picked it up after breakfast. She ran out of potatoes and took a long time to put more out.
Lori checked us in and she was very friendly and talkative. I loved it. A little short on popcorn, not enough for two bags. The lemon water was delicious.

âCheckin was a mess. I was told to take a smaller room than what i had paid for, i insisted and was then given key to a room that was already occupied (with bags and clothes everywhere) Some 20 min later i got access to an unoccupied room. Attitude of reception staff nonchalant. Later during the stay i again found reception staff members non-cooperative.
The hotel is old and feels dingy. Room itself fine however.
Easy access to downtown Raleigh by bus, stop just 200 metres outside.â
âThe staff at checkin and checkout were both very friendly. The only real complaint was that the bed was super honey feeling and you could audibly hear the springs sinking in when laying down. However, it did not stop us from getting a good nightâs sleep!! â
âThis place is awesome. Check in was effortless and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are decorated so cute. It gives you a retro sixties type of vibe. It's very quiet and quaint. I will give this hotel a 9.5 out of 10. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 out of 10 is because of the construction that was going on next to the hotel (although there weren't any noise or building going on while we were there.
