Family vacation

This was a great place to stay in Maui for families. The washer and dryer were so very useful, the beach was beautiful, and we enjoyed the resort pool as well. Check in was easy; it is just like checking in at any other Westin.

Great property!

We couldn’t have asked for anything more. From the pools, the restaurants on site, the staff, the beach access. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Really nice family vacation

The Westin grounds, pool and beach access were great. Despite being there during peak season, we didn't feel the areas were overly crowded. There were ample pools chairs and the beach was never overly crowded. No issue using any Westin amenity despite booking through Vacation Candy, and check-in was seamless. We would definitely return to the property and use Vacation Candy for the booking. A couple of points of feedback: - Our unit was a two adjoining units, vs. one large unit with two bedrooms. This gives a lot less common area and doesn't feel as homely if you are with one family. I'm not sure that was in the description, so please check if that is important to you. - The dishes weren't terribly clean when we arrived so had to wash all the dishes again in both units. Also, selection of dishes wasn't the greatest. - Gym area is quite small with limited selection given the size of the resort. - Limited dining options "on site"

Family Vacation

We had kids ranging from teens to littles and the resort was wonderful for everyone! The resort was clean and well maintained. Felt the Hawaiian experience with the nightly tiki torcher lighters, performances, and over all feel. Our rooms had everything to make our stay comfortable. The pools were super fun and the beach access was amazing!! We snorkeled right there several times and it was full of sea life! The waves were on the calmer side in that area too! All in all we would definitely do another trip there!

Excellent Place to Vacation with Family

We had a partial ocean view. The room was really comfortable and having the kitchen made it easy to come in for lunch and snacks from the beach and pool. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. There were plenty of friends to make for my four year old granddaughter. The food and drinks are pricy but delicious. She is still asking to go back 6 months later. We used the shuttle to get around and that was nice as well.

Best Hawaiian Vacation

Our reservation was for "Garden/Island View" but we actually had a beautiful partial view of the ocean! The resort was clean, not crowded (despite the parking garage being very full at night) and the employees were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the North pool and hot-tub daily and the easy beach access is a huge plus. We never had trouble finding pool lounge chairs any time we went. The snorkeling off the beach was amazing - we saw a sea turtle each time we went out. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed for our family of 5 including 2 teenagers and 1 almost teen. While we used the BBQs and cooked in the unit, we also highly recommend the Sunset Menu at Pulehu (restaurant at ground floor of north resort). No one was ready to leave paradise at the end of our stay. Vacation Candy will be the 1st place I look for our next trip here, it was a seamless, easy process.

The Westin Ka’anapali Resort

We love this resort! Each property has a fabulous pool and you can go to any!! The beaches are great! This resort is worth a stay—you’ll return again after the stay! This was our 3rd year at the resort. The prior 2 years we stayed in the North. My personal preference is -I like the North property better. The living space, porches and kitchen is much larger. There is a regular oven I. The North property -not-this microwave that does all. The North is also much easier to get to your room and to the pool/lobby. The South property - you feel like you got dropped in the middle of a maze and best of luck getting where your going.

Beautiful resort

Set on the best beach in Maui, this resort had it all: beach, great pool, nice walking paths, restaurants, a small grocery store, great snorkeling, hiking and even golf courses nearby. The resort was full to capacity while we were there but there was still room on the beach and at the pool without it seeming crowded. The condos were clean, had nice furnishings and a had a well equipped kitchen (but no oven). You’ll need to bring in all your own food even seasonings but the bbq area always had room to grill. Would highly recommend this resort for couples, families with or without children or groups of traveling friends.

Westin Kannapali (Villas (North)

Family of 6 (Two Adults + Two Kids) + Two Elderly Parents in two bedroom Lock-off Oceanfront Apartment. Brilliant resort, brilliant location. Everything we had hoped for. Would definitely recommend this resort. had everything - including access to facilities at neighbouring Westin resorts. Thanks Vacation Candy for organising this two bedroom lock-off.

Great family holiday!

The resort exceeded our expectations - it was fully booked but seemed calm and not too busy. The pools and pathways are wonderful and everyone had a great time. We enjoyed the bbq area and the oceanfront. It was quiet at night, with a lovely fireplace area and many hot tubs and pools to choose from. It felt personal and lovely. The grandchildren had so much fun, our adult children enjoyed walking and going to dessert in the evenings, we all enjoyed the beach walks. A perfect stay!

Nice place

This was our second stay at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North. The rooms were spacious and clean. Great for a family of 5 to spread out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food truck on the beach was good for lunch. Close to restaurants and shops. Overall a great location.

Maui and Westin Kaanapali Ocean resort Villas North

We had a wonderful time on our first trip to Maui. Our stay wat the resort was a wonderful time that was enjoyed by all five members of our family. Our two bedroom suite was in perfect condition, we;; maintained and stocked with everything we could think of. The resort was splendid as were the beaches on the resort. We had been assigned a higher than expected room so we were thrilled when we realized that we had an Ocean View from our Garden room so that was a great plus. If I could think of anything that was less than perfect (but still wonderful) it was that there were pools that were separated by the different buildings but not that big of a deal because each of the pools offered something that our kids enjoyed. Our first night we enjoyed dinner at the resort's restaurant, food was excellent and was a good value. The resort offered many activities for the kids and family and one great plus was the shuttle that ran quite often to the local town and to other related resorts. VacationCandy made it easy to book...we will certainly be using them again!

Highly Recommended

This is a beautiful resort with excellent facilities and a great location. We especially enjoyed the pool and beach. Listing description was accurate and it was the perfect size for our group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). We would definitely return in the future and recommend it to others.

You Won't Want to Leave This Resort

We had a great vacation stay at this resort. The Westin staff treated like gold. The location was hard to beat. After a great day of snorkeling and pool side relaxation our dream of having a Mai Tai on the beach while watching the sun set came true. If your trip to Hawaii includes more than one of the islands then plan your last week at the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas North. It's a great place to slow down, relax and enjoy being in paradise.

Winter getaway

Highly recommend The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North. Located at a beautiful location. The room we booked had everything we needed for our stay. Very comfortable and spacious. Amazing pools for young and old. We also had access to the pools in the adjacent resort. Steps from the beach and boardwalk. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We booked our stay through vacation candy and strongly recommend using them for future travel. Can't wait to book our next trip!
