The pictures don't do justice to the view! We got to see turtles from our deck and lots of whale watching! The rooms are clean and the bed was really comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with anything we needed.The only downside is that you have to walk a few blocks to get to the beach, but it was totally fine. Great location and we walked to coffee, grocery store, and anything we wanted. There is a free (if 55 and over) or low cost bus route right by the property so easy to get around to Whaler's Village and other shops and restaurants.

Power was restored after check in time. We understood, so we delayed our arrival until later that evening.One of three elevators were working, which is not convenient for a stay on the 9th floor. Two days after our arrival, the AC and hot water went out. The AC still is not restored.Despite the delay, that was apparently also due to the power outage.I asked our host about it, and it sounds like Royal Kahana is planning future work to ensure that power outages don't affect systems like that. I gave a 2 star rating because the host was responsive to my concerns. They took my feedback seriously. I'm not as confident in Royal Kahana, however.

This place has a beautiful location but sadly the condo is tired and worn. First the positives. Then view is exceptional and beautiful. There are 4 chairs on the small balcony and a table. Saw lots of turtles The kitchen is very adequately furnished with the exception of a cutting board and cleaning supplies for kitchen or bathroom. The stove is on the older side with considerable wear on the knobs and stainless steel but it worked just fine. Adequate pots and pans for small meals. The Brita was a nice touch for water. The bed was very comfortable and clean! Washing machine and dryer are newer and work well. Bring your own detergent as the detergent tabs supplied worked poorly. There were very few insects which I loved! There are plenty of ant traps around to help with that and they worked well. Now the down side- the carpet in the living room was badly stained and dirty. The fabric couch had a dark stain on it as well. The couch is different than the pictures and I think some updated pictures would more adequately display this place. The chair in the living room is worn with stuffing showing. There is a window in bedroom that doesn’t open. The curtains in the bedroom had holes in them that let light in. There is no bathroom fan and you must use the slatted windows between the condo and hallway for ventilation which makes for a smelly hallway. The screens for the slatted windows in the living area are broken and taped to the frame. With a little work this place would be 10!

We had fantastic views from our unit and very much enjoyed being able to relax on the lanai and watch all of the turtles that swim back and forth in this area! The unit was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Great location and nice condo. You have an amazing view! We saw Sea Turtles every day and many beautiful sunsets. Only drawback is you should be able to park on property without paying 18 per day.

Fairy tale views!

Gorgeous, spacious and comfortable with what watching and sea turtles swimming by all day. The only beach is fairly small and a bit of a walk but really good snorkeling (just don’t tell anyone) and sea turtles galore! Would highly recommend and hope to return again soon. Take advantage of the free tickets through the rental agency as well!

Amazing

Absolutely loved our stay at the Royal Kahana. The unit had everything we needed and a breathtaking view of the ocean. We spent whatever time we could spare sitting on the balcony. The pool is also really good size. Great communication from the host. All in all had an amazing stay.

Beautiful Ocean View

This place was wonderful to stay at. It’s located in a quieter area so for the most part it stays peaceful. The condo is well equipped and the balcony is wonderful to sit on and watch the ocean and the turtles swimming below. Bed was super comfortable, good kitchen set up, nice having a washer and dryer in condo. Bathroom area is a bit tight but works well. Would recommend the property do some repairs to the sliding door and windows as the rollers are starting to fail and hard to open or close especially for someone with less strength. The property charge of $18 a day parking was a bit crazy but I suppose out of the property managers control. Need to have some more kitchen items to be able to transport food up and down to the BBQ area located at the bottom pool section. All in all would definitely stay here again though.
