A great week away

We stayed for our 20th Anniversary and it was perfect. From being steps away for mornings at the beach, to watching sunset from the balcony - location was amazing.

Amazing view

Great location close to good snorkeling, with amazing sunsets. Beautiful space, you can see the ocean as you cook, eat, wake up.

Excellent stay. Easy access to elevator, beach and grill. Amazing view. Very quiet. Bed mostly comfortable. Maybe mattress needs to be flipped. Very responsive management company.

Overall it was a nice stay

This is a beautiful resort. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking and the grounds are well maintained. However, we would not stay here again for a couple of reasons. While the listing clearly states that there is no air conditioning, we thought that the cool breeze that it mentioned would make things alright. While the breeze did help it was still uncomfortably hot. Also, the power company will shut off the power in the Lahaina area due to the chance the winds might down a power line and cause a fire. This did happen in 2023 with disastrous results. The power and cell phone service did go out for about 36 hours while we were there which caused us to throw away a fridge full of food we had just purchased and then had to purchase again when it came back on. Plus we were in the dark with no fans at all to help keep us cool. All the gas stations, restaurants and stores were closed. Our family and friends were worried because they could no longer contact us because cell and internet service was down the entire time. This issue is not limited to the Valley Isle Resort but to all rooms in the Lahaina area.

Great Stay

We had a great stay here! The location was nice. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. The same applies to the kitchen. The room was big enough and the balcony was really nice. Can recomment to stay here when on Maui!

Very nice studio condo

This beach front studio condo is exactly what we were looking for. It is very clean and somewhat larger than most hotel rooms. The kitchen is small but very well supplied. The lanai is about 40 feet from a nice beach and has westerly views from Lanai to Molokai. There are good restaurants and other services close by.

Great little condo. Perfect love nest. Kitchen was well appointed. The only drawback is no AC. I don’t see myself enjoying a stay during the summer

Unfortunately, construction was occurring in the unit below us, which led to very noisy days. We were not notified about the construction beforehand.We were comfortable in the studio and it was spacious. However, the unit is dated.

Enjoyable experience!

We liked the openness of the room. Balcony was great! Being on the second floor was very nice. Saw a lot of rainbows, beautiful sunsets, and even the sunrises we’re good even though the sun was shining on the western clouds. Saw a number of turtles surfacing close to shore. Close proximity to a number of good snorkeling beaches. But the best was Honolua!
