Gorgeous views! We enjoyed the sunsets and extensive whale watching from the balcony. Our trip was in February. The amount of whale activity we could see from the balcony was truly amazing. The condo was nice with comfortable furniture and everything you could need for a beach day. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils however if you plan to do ANY cooking, bring your spices - salt and pepper is all you will find. They provided dishwasher pods, dish soap, fresh scrubbers, and laundry supplies which was really nice. The beach is a let down. There are huge sandbags that seem to be a permanent fixture with green algea growing on them which sloughs off and is floating around in the swimming area. There is no A/C which seems common with hawaii rentals. They do provide multiple portable fans. The back bedroom window which had slated glass opens to the hallway of the complex for fresh air. This room didnt cool off very well. But the other rooms werent bad (again this was in february). This rental was far away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy mall area, which made it nice and quiet. There is a cute food truck park just down the road with some other closer food options like right next door....Captain Jacks - very good food with reasonable pricing for the area. Overall, i would recommend. We would stay here again for the once in a lifetime views!

Place was exactly as posted. Very beautiful views! Ease of access to beach, stores, and food. Had a few cockroaches visit but post did inform that pests may be an issue. May want to check about changing locks as it was hard to unlock/lock with the keys...didn't want to always work right away. Took us a few minutes each time to get in and out. Host was great with communication.

Lovely 2-bedroom with stunning views

Spacious 2 bedroom with stunning views. Kitchen a delight to cook in… well supplied with high end appliances, pots and pans. Lovely decor felt luxurious and not a normal VRBOLots of Whale watching from veranda, beach right outside … rainbows, turtles, brilliant nighttime stars…. A perfect vacation.Small shopping area across street, excellent sushi, pizza and liquor store. We were group of 5 and all want to return right away

On the water

Location of this condo is terrific and convenient. It is on the second floor and the balcony is almost on top of the shoreline. Great view over the water. Beach access is really just a seawall at this condo so there are better beach areas nearby. Although you can walk down the stairs and get into the ocean, it isn’t the best beach to sit and enjoy the sand. Very convenient to Kapalua if you are coming over for the golf tournament. It’s about an hour drive to the airport or to Kahului or base of Haleakala. Would stay here again. No AC but enough airflow for the rooms to stay comfortable.

Wonderful Place

I stay in Maui twice a year and this unit was beautiful! It is surely worth the difference of money compared to other similar units. Supplies to start you off were much appreciated and instruction book was thoughtfully written. They even have emergency lights in case of an incident. Stunning views. Great amenities. Comfortable beds. Will surely return!

The condo is perfectly located. Sitting on the lanai is heavenly. Both bedrooms are comfortable.

The grounds are beautiful. We very much enjoyed the views from the lanai and bedroom. The only unfortunate is that it is advertised as having a gym. There was no gym. As a person that works out regularly, I was disappointed. Other aspects were great!

Loved my view of the Ocean

The unit was very nice! LOVED my view from the balcony and bedroom! Everything was updated and I really appreciated the use of the provided cooler for our day trips and binoculars for whale watching from the balcony. I spent hours there. LOL I came to Maui in February to watch the whales and was not disappointed. Not any fault of the place, but with downtown Lahaina closed down from the fires, dining in the area was a struggle. We learned quickly that dinner reservations are a must and should be made early if you don't want to eat fast food or drive an hour to get somewhere else. Check in was very confusing. Instructions said to check in with security desk. We arrived just after 6pm and there was nobody that worked in the place anywhere to be found. There was also no one available at the number given to us for this particular unit's property manager. So we kinda had to guess where to go to find the unit. It's a little confusing because there are a couple of properties very close together which made it appear that they were all connected. Once we found the elevator though and went to the 2nd floor we found it with no problem. And access to the unit was easy with the lockbox outside. Overall, the say was very nice. Although after exploring other areas of the Island, I think I would book in another location just given the distance to drive to most of the popular attractions from this place.

Unit needs maintenance, cleaning, and pantry supplies

Pros: 1) We could hear and see the ocean (and a couple of turtles!) from our second story unit. 2) The unit was spacious. 3) It was in a convenient location. Cons: 1) The pictures on VRBO are totally misleading. The unit was run down and dirty. 2) The unit was not clean when we arrived. There was popcorn and food stains all over the rug and the sofa was super old and smelled of body odor. 3) The toilet in one of the bathrooms was blocked. 4) This unit had absolutely nothing in the way of pantry condiments. The knives were dull and the cutting board was falling apart. 5) The front screen door kept getting jammed so it would take us a while to get out. 6) The toaster and coffee maker stopped working and when we reported it, nobody came by to fix them so we had to buy all our coffee outside our whole trip. 7) Both of the magnetic wooden shutters were broken in the living room and master bedroom so the light was not totally blocked out.

Beautiful property on beach

On beach . Beautiful balcony views. Well stocked condo. Not far from shopping and restaurants. No AC which was fine for us since fans and breezes made up for it most of the time. But if u require ac, then this is not the property for you. All positives. If i had to list negatives, it is a little smaller than it looks. But it worked for 3 adults and 2 kids. Also, wish the pool was bigger and facing the beach..

My favorite place I’ve ever stayed on Maui!

This room was perfect for two couples! Amazing views, right on the water with nice beach access. The unit had all of the amenities we could have needed, and was in perfect condition (the listing doesn't do it justice). I would highly recommend it to others, and gladly stay here again myself!

Ocean Front Maui Stay

The best part of the rental was being ocean front on a more private beach area close to town access. Whale watching was incredible from the lanai. Not being so high up we had optimal views of the palms and ocean. Great place for a family stay with a more relaxed vibe.

Two physical things that we did not care for: - no privacy in the master bdrm from the lawn and beach outside, unless the huge and unwieldily blinds were pulled. - the bathrooms were extremely tiny.
