Kris was super helpful and accommodating. The layout of the studio was so efficiently that it felt a lot bigger. Upgrades to everything! The walk to the beach was short and easy. The Lanikai “loop” was perfect for a morning flat 2 1/2 mile walk. The trail to hike to the pillbox is right up the street. A BIG plus for us was that there were many golf courses that were only a short drive away. Highly recommend this studio for a single or couple.

this was a lovely studio in an amazing location.best parts:1)laundry unit (washer/dryer)2)nice water pressure in shower3)superb location 4)outdoor shower makes beach trips/workouts all themore perfect as feet can be rinsed before entering unitchallenges:no dishwasherthis prevented me from cooking or wanting to cooki did squeeze one lemon some of the rind went down the sink and this led to "drain flies" entering the unit.I was not prepared for Drain flies owner/host took care of the flies.host or his delegate was immediately responsive to concernsduring my stay, there were two water alerts(high bacterial count one weekend, sewage release from marine base on another weekend) and one weekend with high Portuguese man o war impacting nearby beacheslanikai water was warm and the tropical reef fish are visible almost immediately upon entering the waterthere is a reason why lanaikai beach remains one of the top rated spots in USA however, even at that, one must watch the state website for warnings of high bacterial counts or Brown wateroahu (as other islands) has quite a cess pool problem which makes research and vigilance wisethis is a perfect studio in a fantastic location

Lanikai Beach!

Christian was great to work with. He replied to emails quickly and kindly. His tenant Ricky was incredibly helpful and provided lots of local recommendations. By far the best part was access to Lanikai and Kailua beaches, especially since there was no parking there. It was a 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach in Hawaii! We plan to be back next year.

It’s all about the Beach!

It is a very short 2 block walk to the awesome Lanakai beach. Having a private parking spot at that location is a gift. Fortunately aside from a few windy days the weather permitted a daily beach option. Great for sunrise and sunset. Washer and dryer in the unit and a hot outdoor shower also great for beach fun. Unit could use some upgrading but there is always the beach!

Immaculate Beach House

A delight to stay at Christian’s place! The place was super clean and orderly. He went above and beyond in providing necessary kitchenware and bathware. I felt super secure with the gate and security cameras. He was super genuine and was even kind enough to share some mangos and papayas from the trees in his yard with me. Additionally, the location was very close proximity to the hiking trail (beautiful at any time of day!), the beach, and to the town of Kailua. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
