The location is walkable to restaurants, shops, and entertainment options.

Unwind into vacation mode on the sofa bed and armchair in the living area. At night, kick back and stream favorite shows on the smart TV. A desk off the living area provides an added convenience. Prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, featuring granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. When it’s time to eat, gather around the dining table.

Start the day with fresh coffee and tropical aromas on your private patio, featuring seating for two. Pros: location, comfort of bed and overall feel of the unit, laundry detergent, soaps, salt, strong WiFi, snorkel gear.Cons: no A/C (ok for us but any warmer temps/higher humidity and it would not have been), flat, uncomfortable pillows, no pepper, loud street/traffic noise over night, likely louder with windows open but couldn’t close them without A/C.

The check in process was smooth and easy. The location of the property is good for easy access to Kona and great parking situation/ short walk. The road noise is WILD. We are not usually bothered by outside noises when we sleep but this was next level. If you’re bothered by noises do not rent this place, it’s right on the road and the drivers are crazy and blare music all night long and have super loud cars. We were woken up constantly. The seating in the living room wasn’t great. We couldn’t all sit and enjoy a movie. Just one small couch and a chair. We didn’t spend much time in the rental because the no ac situation is tricky and there isn’t much of a cross breeze. We enjoyed having a washer and dryer in the unit! Bathroom shower wasn’t a 10 but it worked, could be updated/ cleaned deeper.

One month stay

The checkin was a bit difficult because I wasn’t given the code to a lock box which opened the screen door. I only had the code for the keypad. I was with my 8yo so that was a bit frustrating but the Vacasa people was easy to reach and they helped me out. The place is very clean, comfortable and well stocked but they only left two extra toilet paper rolls which felt a bit stingy. They brought more when I complained which was appreciated. The management is very responsive. The unit, as the listing states, has no AC. It was OK but I could see it being hot as summer approaches. The complex is quiet and the pool is very nice Be aware this place is listed for sale, if you book a trip its possible your reservation gets cancelled if the property is sold.

Winter Hawaii Vacation

The property was as advertised. It was clean, safe, and in a great location for access to Kailua-Kona and the rest of the island. We had to contact the property management a couple of times over the course of our time here and they were immediately responsive to our requests.

No A/C

There is no a/c in this unit and it was right off the street so you can’t even get changed in the bedroom as everyone from the street will see you being you have to keep the windows open. With that said unit was very clean.
