3 Weeks in paradise
We spent 3 weeks at Kevin’s condo and found the unit was very well equipped with all the kitchen supplies necessary to prepare great meals. In addition, there was a closet full of toys from boogie boards to snorkel gear, chairs and beach towels. The king size bed was comfortable. The view is phenomenal, overlooking the 17th hole at Kona Country Club and out to the Pacific Ocean. Highly recommend this condo.

Quiet gem south of Kona
Overall a great spot to stay if you're into peace and quiet. The view from the lanai is great and its proximity to the pools/tennis courts and parking are a plus. The VRBO is well stocked with many recreational items you might need for a trip to the Big Island. Definitely at its maximum comfort limit for 4 adults given the bedrooms. Things to note: this is at the south end of Kona, so it takes a little bit of driving to get to the downtown area as well as the airport and any larger stores you know of from the mainland. There is no easy "walkable'" beach access. A few other important points: recall no central Air Conditioning. There is 1 small window unit in each of the 2 bedrooms and fans. Internet is provided, but no regular TV service. We came across several bugs/bug carcasses but this is to be expected. Hot water didn't quite last for 4 adults in a row, so plan ahead. The front door unlock mechanism is difficult to work at times - would recommend an upgrade to a digital unit (with both keypad and key). Finally, and a big issue for a tall guy with glasses who stays in the master bedroom - the bed has deadly sharp metal corners that project quite some ways from the comforter. Still to this day (1 month later) I have healing injuries from repeatedly running into the sharp corners - and not just during the dark! Also, watch your head for low spinning fans! Despite this - this VRBO still gets a 4.5/5 stars. Will stay here again if we come back to Kona!

The View!
Wonderful location with incredible view across the golf course to the ocean. Spacious and homey! Being on lower level walkout was ideal. It was so quiet too! Loved the art and all the orchids! Honestly it was just as listed and a great value!

Great location
Great location. Had a fantastic lanai with a view of the golf course and sunsets over the ocean. So nice to have our own bbq and to be so close to the pool and the tennis court.

Relaxing little spot
This location is close to the end of the property (so close to the pool). This is a well stocked place for all kitchen implements and feels more like a home than a rental. It’s paradise, so my only recommendation is to shower off at the hale before heading to the pool because of the local critters. Every morning, we were greeted by three little birds, which added to the charm of the place. Towels and items were well stocked as well as ice chests and snorkel gear. Would absolutely stay here again. Had friends staying two drive ways over and I absolutely loved this place by comparison.

Great Stay
Very attractive and comfortable condo. Several stairs to access front door. Our family member with walking difficulties opted to go in and out through the lanai door. Would definitely stay here again.

Ah --- Kona!

Great home away from home
The accommodation is in a fantastic location to explore all of the Big Island and the view is lovely. The unit itself is a great size, has comfortable furniture (although the beds were overly firm for all of us), and has everything needed for making meals. The manager was easy to communicate with and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay!!

Well Stocked
The property was in a great location and very well stocked with cleaning supplies, toiletries etc. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well and the breeze flows nicely through the main living area. The patio was great for sunrise, sunset and having relaxing meals. Would stay here again for sure.

Great view. Awesome lanai.
Very nice condo! Check-in was easy. Proximity of unit to the designated parking spot, pool, tennis courts, and grocery store was great! I would stay again just for the sunset view and huge lanai! The unit/complex is a little older but well-maintained; no issues overall. Would definitely recommend!

Great location!
I spent 11 days solo at this unit and could not be more pleased. The view from the lanai is lovely. The property is well maintained and the home was clean and nicely furnished. Pools are a bonus. Very convenient being at the southern end of Alii Drive to get to sights and adventures south of Kona. Grocery store, restaurants and Saturday Farmer's Market within walking distance as well as a Wed. market by the resort nearby and another in Captain Cook. You will be happy you purchased something unique and local! Great communication with owner. I will definitely consider staying here again the next time I stay on this side of the island. Aloha!

PERFECT!
If I ever return to Hawaii there is no doubt that I will be staying here. The layout is great with bedrooms are on opposite ends of the condo, lanai has beautiful view with ceiling fan, there is no road noise, and it has the added convenience of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We did have 2 issues, however, those were taken care of in less than 12 hours by Kevin's manager. Would definitely recommend! The only problem that I could foresee--if it is hot, there are A/C units in bedrooms only. The ceiling and oscillating fans in common area were more than adequate for all of us, however, the outside temperature did not go above 83.

Kona Condo
Our stay at Kevin’s condo was perfect. We are 2 adult women. The condo is in an excellent location close to many beautiful beaches, shopping and restaurants. The unit is well stocked and clean. Both interior and exterior space is generous. The lanai was a lovely place to spend time mornings and evenings. Beds were comfortable. Kevin was very responsive to emails and very accommodating. Would definitely return.

Not only is this a well-equipped condo but one that you find in just a few days, totally relaxed. Lovely view surrounded by lush green. Comfy beds, enjoyable pool and a refrigerator and spice cupboard with many things you don’t have to purchase. You will totally enjoy yourself here.

Great location even better host
The location is perfect and central to many different activities and excursions. We were just down the road from our snorkeling tour and manta ray tour and a short drive from many beaches and restaurants. We loved the availability to borrow things such as snorkeling gear or boogie boards. Unwinding at the pool or hot tub was the perfect ending to every day. Home away from home
We just returned after 5 days here and I would not hesitate to stay here again. This is a very well kept property with all the comforts of a home for our family of 3, but it can easily fit more people comfortably. Everything one needed was provided. Just bring your clothes/bathing suits. Thank you very much for sharing your place with us! Below are some highlights for our family. - Very clean with all items in working condition. - Is exactly as pictured, even bigger than expected. -Close to a shopping center with a grocery store, Long's pharmacy, a few restaurants in walking distance (about 5min walking) -Near an excellent family friendly snorkeling beach (3min driving or 15min walk, but it was too hot for us to walk with all of our snorkeling gear. -clean pool, was never crowded. -

Amazing Stay

Perfect family vacation

Very comfortable condo right on the golf course
Great location with lovely ocean views. Convenient to a shopping center that has restaurants and grocery store. Nicely decorated and the kitchen has all you would need if you cook in. The property has a pool, tennis courts and a pickle ball court. The condo has rackets, sports equipment, coolers, beach towels and chairs. Everything you could need for a convenient stay without bring it from home. The owner was great to work with and very responsive . We would certainly stay in the unit again.

Clean, Quiet, Private, Great View
Kevin's property looks out onto the 17th green at the Kona Country Club. We LOVED the privacy, the chirping birds in the morning and long ocean views as we sip our coffee and plot the days adventures. You are 20 steps from the pool and tennis courts which were mostly empty during our stay. You are close to the beaches, snorkeling and a shopping center with great, friendly bars and eating spots. This is as good as it gets, thanks Kevin.

Beautiful condo with a great view
The condo was exactly as described. It was clean, well maintained, and well equipped! There was beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, and boogie boards! It was so nice to have all of that stuff for our use, the kids had a blast on the boogie boards. The condo was in a great location, close to the beach and shopping. We would definitely stay here again!

Can’t wait to go back
Unfortunately we had to shorten our stay by 13 days due to Covid-19. We have stayed at this resort before and love the area. Kevin’s place is well looked after. Our only suggestion is that it is in dire need of new furnishings in living room, as furniture very worn out and uncomfortable. Other than that, place is so well equipped and was perfect for our planned one month stay. Kevin is quick to reply to any query we had and a fantastic owner. We had requested a crock pot and one was put in the unit. The weather was unusual for March, but the oversized lanai was so comfortable we spent the majority of the day relaxing there during the rain, watching the die hard golfers. The condo was well stocked with paper towels, condiments, napkins and cleaning products.

Quiet beautiful place
Overall great place with beautiful views and sunset. As was said in one review needs some updates but you get it at a good price. What I liked most is that every device was provided with step by step how to use instructions. That saves the property and all what is inside to be used for a long time after many guests. Plenty of cleaning supplies to keep the place tidy during long stay, everything necessary for rest and fun in the sun.

The condo was just as stated and really perfect for us.

Enjoyed our stay
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Country Club Villas. The unit had everything we needed for our week. The kitchen had all the necessities. The owner has furnished things for the beach as well (coolers, chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment). There are also a couple tennis rackets if you enjoy a game. There is a washer/dryer for convenience. We found the unit clean and comfortable. The living room furniture is okay but getting a bit worn (probably time for new). The beds were comfy and the bedrooms are equipped with AC. That made sleeping comfortable. However, we visited during late summer and it was quite warm & humid (low 90's each day). While the bedrooms were cool we struggled to keep the living areas cool since there was no breeze. There are two ceiling fans in the kitchen/dining area but they didn't move enough air for us. There were notes on the AC units advising tenants that the AC was for the bedrooms and not whole house cooling. Consider something with central air if that's important to you. There is a nice view of the golf course and ocean from the ground floor unit. The pool and tennis courts are close. We used both daily. Overall it is a good unit. It needs some updating and other than the issue of trying to keep it cool we had no issues.

Clean...quiet...relaxing.
Amazing view...place was clean and quiet. Just what was needed after a long day of exploring Kona. Would definitely stay there and recommend.

Peaceful, beautiful getaway both close and far enough away from it all
We stayed 10 lovely days at this beautiful condo, and loved every minute. It is wonderfully updated and maintained, with quality appliances and details. It was especially nice for our family (with two young daughters) to use the boogie boards, snorkel masks, fins, and other beach items. We also appreciated the A/C units in each bedroom to use at night - what a treat! The property of the buildings is so well-maintained. Our girls loved exploring the plants, watching the birds, trying to catch those sneaky fast geckos, and inhaling the beautiful fragrances in the air at each turn. The lanai is where we spent most of our time. It felt very private and spacious, and we ate most of our meals here, watching the sea in the distance and the shifting clouds. We also loved the shopping center just down the block! The grocery store has a great selection, the restaurants were good, and the bookstore and several of the other stores were nice for shopping.
