Snorkeling out back was challenging with a hurricane in the Pacific (waves were very kicked up, the surfers loved it), but we did get out the last few days and it was amazing. “Easily the best VRBO experience we've ever had. The property is super clean and well equipped; the rate is reasonable for Hawaii and less than 10 minutes from shopping in Kona. Steve, the host, could not have been more gracious and helpful.The grounds are like something out of a botanical garden, with a view of the ocean beyond Kona and spectacular sunsets. The only thing I can say that was misleading was the references to proximity to locations in Kailua- Kona in the listing. “We really enjoyed our two week stay at this property. It is located just minutes from dining, bars and shopping. The backyard is absolutely perfect and we enjoyed so much time on the lanai during our stay! The only thing we didn’t love was that it’s located on a major thoroughfare so backing out of the driveway to leave was challenging because it’s hard to see due to the angle of the driveway. Regardless we would definitely stay here again, it was the perfect place for our Hawaiian vacation! ”
