Hotell i Kalámi

"När vi anlände till rummet fanns det myror där. Personalen tog bort det dag 1 men andra dagen var myrorna tillbaka. Vi tjatade på receptionen att de skulle fixa det eller låta oss byta rum och de lovade att fixa, men gjorde det inte. Vi fick inte byta rum, ingen kompensation, ingen uppföljning om vår trivsel. Dag 4 gav vi upp. Vårt rum hade Swim-up-pool längst till vänster i korridoren. Det gjorde att vår del av poolen var där poolpersonalen gjorde sitt underhåll, alltså: oväntat besök på vår uteplats, inte uppskattat. Vidare var rummet mindre än väntat och det fuktiga klimatet gjorde att sängkläderna lätt kändes fuktiga. Det var svårt att veta hur det funkade med middagar och frukostar på andra restauranger. Det visade sig att man skulle boka i den medföljande appen men där fanns inte alla tider. Vi fick ta kontakt med personalen ändå. De har en huvudrestaurang där man blir visad till ett bord men sen går man åndå och hämtar mat själv och sen får man beställa dryck vid bordet. Detta fick vi lista ut själva och senare berätta för andra par som var lika förvirrade över organisationen som vi var. Maten var god och varierad. Stranden var härlig och välfyllt. Man fick gå tidigt för en bra strandstol/plats. Bra tillgänglighet med barer var man än befann sig."

"Klassiskt hotell från 1800-talet med mycket charm och patina. Hotellet ligger nära de centrala kvarteren med gott om restauranger och kaféer. Bra frukost utifrån grekiska mått. "

"Beautiful location with horrible service from the front desk. When we arrived at the hotel they had "upgraded" us to a worse room and only let us know when we arrived at the room and then promptly leaving instead of letting us know beforehand. It took several hours to change back to our original room and we did not even receive an apology and the bathroom smelled like cigarettes. Worst part was when we booked a taxi to Corfu town we were told we would share (mini van) it with two other people from the hotel. Turns out one of them was the woman from the front desk who rode the taxi for free and did not say a word as the taxi driver scammed us on the price (2x70 euro to go to the airport and then the city when another receptionist said that it should be less than 70). The receptionist did offer an apology for riding with us but apparently had no issue with the taxi driver scamming their guests even though it was booked through the hotel. We asked for late checkout and was reluctantly offered it which was later forgotten or not noted by the hotel staff so they called us three times to rudely remind us of the checkout time. Breakfast is nothing special and filled with bees."
