“It was a very charming cottage, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, he made sure our dogs got along together and then gave us lots of privacy. He lives on the property, in a house, just up the hill from the cottage. There was a cute built-in desk where I spent some time writing. Lots of trails nearby for humans and dogs. A beautiful area! “I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this resort.
Before booking the tent, I specifically called and asked whether it included a heater because I was traveling with my 6-year-old child. The person I spoke with assured me that the tent had a heater and all the amenities we would need. At $150 per night, I trusted that information and made the reservation.
When we arrived around 8:00 p.m., we discovered that the tent had none of the amenities we were promised. There was no heater,...

“Close proximity to beach and hikes with our dog. Also, the outside fire pit and BBQ was very nice. Having a kitchen saved us from having to eat our meals out which was a nice savings. I would say the only thing that we could have use was a little more silverware and a larger frying pan. Other than that it was great and we will definitely return.”

“Amazing location with Redwoods right next to the cabin! Loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the views of the forest. Note: there is no WiFi and very spotty cell reception, so plan accordingly. Also the road noise from the highway was pretty steady until about 7:00pm, when the parks closed.”
