We could easily get to Waimea and beat the crowds, to Sleeping Giant for a sunrise hike, and it was an easy drive to the north side to spend time at Anini Beach. “This is a lovely house in a lovely spot. Close to the great beaches of the north shore while still just a short drive to Hanalei. The place was clean. The kitchen well equipped. Fans and a/c galore, absolutely ice cold when we walked in! (We kept it much higher after that.) There's plenty of sitting areas in the house, on the balcony, and down the bottom.
