Nestled in a quiet, one-of-a-kind neighborhood, you will be just steps away from world class kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkeling on one of the finest reef systems in all of Hawaii.

Enjoy the luxury of 5000 square feet that comfortably sleeps up to 11 people in four suite style bedrooms and features a 45-foot infinity edge heated pool (from 3.5' to 5.5' deep) and spa overlooking Puako Bay. Wake up to views of whales breaching off the reef in front your private primary bedrooms, lanai, great room and pool areas.

This spacious home offers beautiful views of the water and amazing sunsets. Delight in the outdoor living of our lanai and pool area watching your favorite game on the big screen TV, barbequing, or just relaxing with family and friends while enjoying the pool and ocean views. Step down to the large, flat grass area to toss a ball or for a waterfront game of badminton, croquet or corn hole. Each bedroom is suite style with its own bathroom and the two primary bedrooms feature outdoor showers. Three of our bedrooms are appointed with king beds and the fourth bedroom has two queen beds. Our home features a well-appointed kitchen for the cook in the family with majestic settings for family gatherings inside and out.

This is the perfect home and location for the active group. Just steps away from the water, Puako Bay offers a varietal water experience. Nearby you can swim with Manta Rays at Mauna Kea, kayak or paddleboard from our beach, snorkel the Puako reef or play pickleball, tennis or work out at the nearby Mauna Lani Wellness Center and Tennis Club.

Puako is a long-standing Hawaiian community nestled in the shadow of Mauna Kea on the Kona Gold Coast, one of the driest locations in the state of Hawaii. With less than ten inches of rain per year, great weather is not hard to find in this location. It is often said about the big island, if you dont like the weather, just wait an hour.

The Puako Beach community has an authenticity you wont find in the commercial resorts. Amazing sea life abounds in our reef, including turtle cleaning stations, colorful tropical fish and manta and spotted eagle rays. A short walk or bike down the road is a quaint general store for quick pick-up items and specialties like delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies and fresh poke on Fridays. At the end of the road, you will find Paniau Beach with waves for the surfer that wont disappoint. In the other direction, Beach 69, a local favorite, is a ten-minute walk and features waves, white sand, and amazing snorkeling. Hapuna Beach, one of the most scenic white sand beaches on the island is just a mile away by car or paddleboard. Or try the local Puako Beach with white sand and tidepools just a quarter mile from the house. The golfer can find world class golf courses at nearby resorts like Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani and Waikoloa, that are just around the corner.

**Guests of Puako Bay Hideaway may enjoy complimentary access during their stay to the Mauna Lani Wellness Center and Tennis Club, which features a fully equipped fitness center, lap pool, large gym, locker rooms, five tennis courts (including three lighted courts), and four pickleball courts. Additional classes, such as beach yoga, may also be available for an additional fee. The current membership is valid through 11/18/26 and must be renewed annually by the property owner. Membership may be discontinued without notice.

We are situated in the middle of some of the finest resorts on the big island with Mauna Kea and Hapuna Hotel two miles to the north and the Fairmont and Auberge two miles to the south. We are also just fifteen minutes from the town of Waimea and the village area of Waikoloa, both offering dining and shopping. Check out one of the two farmers markets in Waimea and supply yourself with fresh fruits, vegetables and other local creations.

The Big Island offers outstanding outdoor opportunities including beautiful hikes with amazing views and beaches. Drive to the top of Mauna Kea at over 13,000 feet for amazing star watching or travel to Volcanos National Park for a full day excursion.
