“We had three prepaid rooms through Expedia for my team. Upon arriving at around 11 PM, the lone clerk spent over 30 minutes trying to get us into rooms. The first room took three attempts as the clerk (talking at length with someone on the phone while trying to figure out what to do with us) had sent this person to one room and then another which was occupied. I paid for 2 nights but did a late checked in the morning after the first night. I requested a cot then and 4 more times after that. We did not get our cot till almost 10 on our last night.”

“The 6th floor reeked of stale ash trays, and my “nonsmoking” room still smelled and had cigarette burns in the headboard. No stopper in the sink. The crappy coffeemaker wouldn’t turn on but leaked water. The replacement managed only 1/2 cup and would not empty the reservoir. When I asked where the “included” breakfast was served I was ushered to a table with a thermos of warm coffee and Hostess snack cakes.
