Our visit to WBV
Very well managed, property grounds beautifully maintained. The pool is salt water, clean and beautiful. It was a smaller pool but nevr crowded. It is walking distance to restaurants, shopping and of course beaches.

Excellent condo
The condo was clean, with plenty of parking. The location was a little hard to get to because of traffic, but the traffic noise didn’t bother us at all. The view of the bay was excellent, although it’s a very windy bay with a hardly walkable beach. The only complaint I have is that the towels smelled like mildew. Some improvements that would’ve helped our stay here include instructions on how to use the washing machine which I found very confusing. And instructions on using the television.

Mother/Daughter trip to paradise
We have been to Maui, which we love, and Oahu, but this was our first time to Kauai and it was absolutely wonderful. The condo was great. Just as shown in the listing. There is a main street by the condo but it didn’t bother us at all. You barely hear it. The condo is also located to where you can go in either direction to visit all the different places on the island. Driving around this island was nothing short of, amazing and beautiful. We loved the private beach of the condo. If you walk off to the side of the condos, there is a private little beach you can lay out at. It was clean. It had everything you needed, and the complex was very quiet. This unit has an AC in the bedroom only but we didn’t need it in the living room. Once you opened up the glass doors and the breeze came through. I knew use the ceiling fan. It was very very comfortable. We came in March. The condo also had plenty of towels and other amenities out on the little lanai that you could use for the beach.

Good Ocean Front Condo

Great Place in Kauai!
This rental has a great location and amazing view of the bay! The property was clean and quiet. Everything you need for your stay is provided. I was surprised at how much was thought of in stocking this property. Much better than other rentals we have used. Restaurants and shopping are close and easy to get to. Washer and dryer inside the unit was also a plus.

Beautiful view
This condo has a picture perfect view!!! Was super helpful to have beach gear, such as beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. Condo could use a refresh and some minor repairs, even a new comforter/bedspread would be a good addition. Had an issue with the wi-fi that was quickly addressed. They were great in assisting me with a weather related issue back home that required me to add an extra day (this created a problem with the entry code, but it was addressed quickly). Overall, a great location and good value.

Beautiful & Comfortable Ocean View
The location was central to all the places we wanted to go in Kauai, the couch and bed were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed, and so many extras - from a beach bag to mosquitoes repellent. Cindy was very responsive and helped us with our needs. A perfect place for us to stay on our first visit to the Garden Isle!

50th birthday week celebration
We really enjoyed the property, lots of extras that we used for excursions. Great view from the balcony for having coffee and breakfast every morning watching fisherman trying their luck as wellnas the chickens and roosters. One morning we witnessed a fisherman catch a small shark. Had nice sunsets also at the end of the day. Property was central to the north shore and south shore so where ever we decided to go it was easily done with short drives. My wife's 50th birthday week was a great success.

Excellent Stay!
We loved staying in unit 104! The view from the lanai is beautiful; we really enjoyed sitting outside watching the waves (and the chickens!). The A/C in the bedroom was a plus, and the washer and dryer in the unit was really handy! Kitchen was stocked with basic cookware, and it was nice to have a dishwasher as well. Location is great too, right in the middle of things, but we never felt it was loud. Thank you for a wonderful introduction to Kauai!

Great condo great view very comfortable
We really enjoyed the condo as a base to see the Island, we did a great self guided car tour of Waimea Canyon. We also visited Poipu beach and appreciated the beach at the condo as it’s not a crowded madhouse like Poipu. We enjoyed the little bakery across the street and the Olympic restaurant in town. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed and pillows comfy. The beach chairs and umbrella were great!

Great Oceanfront Condo in Kauai
We enjoyed our stay in this oceanfront condo. Everything is as advertised. The only sounds you hear are the waves and the roosters. It's in a good location on the Coconut (east) coast of Kauai, so not a long drive to either end of the island, and there are some good restaurants and shops nearby. The kitchen is well stocked and had our favorite things - Keurig coffee maker, good coffee mugs, wine glasses, and even Champagne flutes. If we get back to Kauai we'd definitely stay here again.

Great Condo - Great Location!
Wailua Bay View was perfect for us! Great condo with everything you need for a short or long stay. We enjoyed our coffee on the lanai in the mornings and drinks and pupus in the evening watching the gorgeous ocean surf. So many great restaurants, beaches and shopping all within walking distance.

Perfect condo overlooking ocean/ beach
Beautiful and comfortable! Quite too with just the peaceful waves coming onshore. Thank you for the shampoo, conditioner and body wash to use since those are hard to pack with the airlines/ flights. Such a wonderful spot to call home during our vacation. We hope to return some day! I loved that a sea turtle and a seal swam near me at Poi’pu Beach. My spouse did sky diving too!

The location was great for all of our exploring. Didn't realize the condo was so close to the main road, but it was fine. Manager was very friendly. The books about Kauai were very helpful for our excursions. Close to shopping and restaurants as well.

Great Space felt like home!
Condo was the perfect floor plan and size, they had everything we could ever need at our fingertips! We couldn't believe the view, friends actually asked if I had filters on my pictures, which I did not it was just that beautiful! Condo was clean and property management company was so easy to work with! We even saw a pod of dolphins in front, on our last day! Downside for us was just how quiet it was, we were scared to make a peep, but this would definitely be a perk for most!

2 weeks in Paradise!
WBV is situated close to numerous wonderful beaches and essential services with Kapa’a — and its “beach vibe” — just up the road (5 to 10-minute drive) . The condo property is centrally located on the east coast of the island, which allows for relatively easy access (max. <1 hour by car) to beautiful sights and places along the East, North (wetter) and South (drier) coasts, as well as inland from there (West). They call it the Garden Island for a reason!!! The vegetation is beautiful and the beaches are numerous and varied, with many safe swimming and some snorkeling opportunities On the whole, people (local and tourists) were very courteous and generally very laid back 🤙. There were some traffic “pinch points” during the daytime — due in part to ongoing road-improvement construction and in part to simple traffic volume issues on the Kuhio Hwy. Issues were minimized by avoiding higher volume commuter times.

We enjoyed our stay with Wailiau Bay. The unit was very clean and tastefully decorated. We were right on the water and enjoyed the sound of the waves at night. There was a lot of road construction during our stay. The constuctiom I gave the unit a three for location primarily due to the road construction and the tent city at the adjacent beach.

Most Wonderful!
The property was as described. The amazing thing about the property was, although it was a bit dated, the care and upkeep was evident. The fit and finish on the entire apartment was excellent. The apartment was not air conditioned, except for the most important bedroom. It was nicely cooled and made for great sleeping. Not to worry about the rest of the apartment, the cross breeze from the patio door through the front door louvers was more than enough cooling. It's Hawaii and it was very pleasant. The apartment looked out over the Wailua Beach. The view, framed with tall coconut palms was a scenic photo every morning for sunrise and every late afternoon. Gorgeous! As an added bonus, there was a telescope and binoculars to check out whatever was going on a the beach or the Hikinaakala Heiau across the bay. The property was beautifully cared for by Mark the manager. The pool was relaxing and quiet. An occasional chicken showed up on the back lawn, but Mark chased them off with his squirt gun! The apartment was 5 minutes away from the Fern Grotto boat tour, about 5 minutes away from the local Safeway and 3 minutes away from the touristy Coconut Marketplace with its very large ABC store with good liquor prices. There were quite a few good restaurants nearby. We liked the Lava Lava Beach Club for dinner, and No. 1 Chinese and BBQ for ono plate lunches. We would definitely stay here again. Highly Recommended.

Anniversary trip
Perfect location to explore the whole island. The ocean view is outstanding and we had breakfast on the lanai every morning and even for a few take out dinners. Walk to beach and shopping. Nice pool area. It’s a nice and small condo complex, so it’s quiet (we loved that). Would stay there again.

Lovely Apartment
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, mid-island with lots of restaurants near by. The condo was clean and comfortable. I was surprised that the AC was in the bedroom and not central AC but we turned down the temperature, used the fans in the living room and closed the shades while we were out and entire condo stayed cool enough.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay at this property. The condo is clean and furniture looks new. The location is great as far as where it is on the island. There's a nice bakery across the street. Unfortunately, the area surrounding the unit is dirty. There was a vehicle at the beach that is either abandoned or has someone living in it. There's a homeless camp under the bridge down the street/beach and that population traveled the street and beach near the condo. I also don't recommend this unit for people with children. Pool rules are very strict and while most people were friendly toward our children, others made it clear that even on their best behavior, they were not welcome.

Overall great stay
Condo is in a great location. Coffee on the lanai in the morning overlooking the beach was awesome. It's an older property but well maintained. Pool was sparkling clean. Inside of condo shows its age but we just slept there, had breakfast and explored the island all day. Owners provide beach chairs and towels, boogie boards, cooler, even fishing poles. Binoculars came in handy on our hikes. We were happy to have the washer/dryer too. Well equipped condo!

We would rent again!
First of all, the location of this property was perfect and the view truly doesn't get better. We very much enjoyed the lanai and morning coffee with the variety of birds and chickens and the beautiful ocean. A 10/10. The condo came equipped with many extra necessities, ie. Keriug, plus coffee maker, blender, salt, pepper, seasoning, ice cube trays, etc. It's an older unit with many things having been updated. The furniture seems new. A brand new king size mattress was recently purchased for the bedroom. The mattress was perfect, firm, but not hard. We slept great. The bedroom air conditioner could use an update, as it is an older unit and quite loud when it cuts in during the night. We weren't overly bothered by it, however if you are a light sleeper, I could see it being an issue, as it did wake us ocassionally. There was also a brand new mattress in the pull out sofa bed. Our boys, ages 11 and 13, had no complaints and said it was comfy. Note, the bed linens should be replaced, no stains, just a couple of rips in the master bedroom linens. Lots of towels available and those were new and fluffy. Washer and dryer worked good. If we had to pick one negative thing about this condo, it would be that it needs a fresh coat of paint. The closet doors etc almost looked dirty. A coat of paint is definitely needed. Also, the cobwebs, etc. should be cleaned on the inside of the front door and under the bed needs vacuuming. The front door is old and showing a lot of wear. Minor things, but still things that should be done to improve renter experience. Would we rent this condo again? YES! We were pleased with our stay and it meet all of our needs. We very much appreciated the ability to use the beach chairs, cooler, beach toys and boogie boards, etc. As a side note for anyone renting at this condo complex, there are some residents in this building who wish for the pool area to be a "quiet pool" and not a place for children to play. Again, this wasn't a big deal to us as we barely used the pool, but if you have children you may be dissappointed. The pool is beautiful and is even 8ft deep at one end, but if you expect it to be your typical report type pool, you will be dissappointed due some residents in this building. Thank you to the owners of this property for providing a wonderful place for us to spend our vacation. Much Aloha :)

Thank you for a detailed review. The new owners will be doing more painting when they are there this summer. The new bed and sofa sleeper are some new additions and more to come. The AC is standard at the property and even new ones make that kind of noise so hopefully the associations comes up with a better plan for AC. Please email directly if you had incidents at the pool with owners or residents to share with the resident manager. As long as the kids were abiding by the pool rules they should be fine. A Good Way to Start Our Vacation
My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful 8 day stay at this condo. Rarely have I been to a place that was as well equipped. We like to eat in, and every time I wondered whether the condo had a particular item I’d need, I had only to look in the well organized kitchen, and there it was. The view from the lanai was beautiful, and we enjoyed many meals out there. Another advantage is that the location is in between the areas of Poipu and Hanalei, and we took numerous trips to both places. Safeway is a few miles away, and there is a nice mall within walking distance that has restaurants as well as a farmers’ market. Finally, there is a great bakery across the street where we bought delicious sour dough bread. It was a great place to start our vacation, and I would highly recommend it.

The kitchen was well apportioned. Living room was ok, viewing deck Awesome. Odors from the bedroom terrible. Mattress is wore out. Bed linens have permanent stains and odors. Tried to sleep on the hide-a-bed. Bad also. We purchased an air mattress from Walmart and finally got some sleep.

Perfect Location
This is our second visit to this property. We love all the amenities and flexibility of this condo (full kitchen, living space, bathroom, and in-unit laundry). We have vacationed numerous times to all the Hawaiian islands over the last 25 years and we have learned that hotels can’t compete with condo living on the islands. This properties’ lanai ocean view, trade wind cooling and lullaby of crashing waves at any hour when you open the sliding glass doors, is a relaxing paradise. The location of this property is central to every adventure on the island whether you go as far North as the road takes you through Hanalei or you venture South to Poipu and beyond. We love the cleanliness of this affordable property and the two communal gas grills at the pool are a great way to enjoy locally caught fish. BTW, we had the best Mexican restaurant experience at Monaco’s right near Wailua Bay Condos in Kapaa. We will be back!!

This location was conveniently located. It provided easy access to spots all over the island. The view from the lanai was beautiful.

Nice place
This condo is in a convenient area. Close to the air port and shopping centers. The condo came equipped with everything you could need. Neighbors are a bit loud and you can hear everything above you. We wish there was AC throughout, but there was only AC in the bedroom and the bed was a bit Uncomfortable for me. All in all, nice place to stay for the time we were there!

Location and convenience we agree this condo is one of the best. We are sorry about the neighbors and wish we knew as we would report it to the on site manager. Stayed 2 weeks in Kauai, business and then vacation. Check in was easy and the condo was clean other than the blender that was dirty but we replaced! AC is in bedroom only, so be prepared to be warm on occasion if you visit in the warmer months. Food is very expensive so plan accordingly. Its almost easier in my opinion to cook Breakfast / lunch and go out for dinner. (Restaurant meals sometimes better deal than Safeway and cooking.) The negative is that the beach pictures are old! This is not a beach access right out your door place. You will need to walk down to street level and the beach has cliffs and lots of debris and wood on it. The beach was washed out years ago from a storm. The pics should be updated to reflect this. Also, be advised the increase of homeless persons in Kauai. You will see them nearby! Also the islanders have a love hate relationship with mainlanders. You will hear that as well. (witnessed lots of arguments) On a different note: This is the safest place in the planet at this time due to heavy COVID restrictions and mask wearing! Very impressive. Be respectful to the islanders and remember you are a visitor. I saw many mainlanders acting ridiculous. Other than the beach view being washed out, and the heavy traffic outside the door, it was a good place to stay and a fair price. Property management was very easily to work with. Thank you.

The beach front comes and goes with tide so today the sand is very similar to in the pictures we have of Wailua Bay View. Yes, there is beach erosion that occurs after storms and mother nature has a lovely way of returning it to its beauty in her time not our time. Mahalo, Cindy & Premier Kauai Ohana.

Pure Bliss!
This condo has absolutely everything you could need and is so well appointed. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a lot of restaurants and groceries within walking distance. I loved getting up and walking to the market/deli for breakfast and coffee, walking home and eating on the lanai. The view is amazing. The management is also responsive and well organized. The property was clean and adequate. However, it is an older unit and needed some upgrades. For example, the bedroom has a window air conditioning (AC) unit. The AC was EXTREMELY loud when running and made it very difficult to sleep. Also the mattress and exhaust fan in the bathroom need to be replace. Cindy, the property management representative, was very responsive to our needs. A battery was missing from one of the TV remotes and she personally brought to us as soon as I reported the issue to her. She also recommended an excellent restaurant for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary.

Thank you for your review and hope you enjoyed your Anniversary dinner. We ordered the bathroom vent so that is being repaired and will check on the loud AC. Wakeup to paradise
The view from this condo is breathtaking every time you look outside! Totally worth the stay just to see that. Only complaint is if you're noise sensitive I'd get an upper unit, the person above stomped their feet at all hours. But we weren't home that much for it to matter.

Fun vacation but rental company overcharged my card twice
Our vacation was great and the property was very nice and clean. However, there were two separate occasions that I was charged additional amounts after having paid the entire balance in full at time of booking. These mistakes were corrected quickly but it sure seems like this company was trying to “sneak one past me”. I had family in other rentals with the same company that this happened to as well. Keep an eye on your credit card!

There was a issue with our property management system and VRBO. Your reservations did not include the GET/TAT taxes which we are required to collect but since it was our property software error I made the correction. I apologize this happened to you and it is all fixed and you got a even cheaper vacation less that taxes that we paid. I agree we all need to watch our CC as things can happen and it is how you fix them that makes a difference. Mahalo..Cindy

Beautiful Ocean View
My boyfriend and I loved our stay in this conveniently located 1 bedroom condo in Kapaa. The check-in/out process was convenient however it was a little unclear about the paperwork needed for a parking permit so I filled out everything that was available and just plopped a parking permit on my dashboard. It seemed to work. Overall though, the property managers were really great to communicate with and were flexible with our stay dates. This place was clean and the fully equipped kitchen was used during our entire stay. The lanai is perfect for watching sunrises/sunsets while listening to the ocean.

Location is everythng
We totally enjoyed being right on the water, hearing the waves, watching the sunrise, whales and dolphins off shore, surfers up close. There are many fine restaurants to choose from in Kapaa and Lihue. It is an easy drive north or south to see the other sites. The unit was comfortable and clean. It felt like our home away from home.
