Views Amenities Location

This is our second time staying at this villa while visiting Maui, and we love it!! The views when you wake up, eat breakfast, or simply do dishes, do not disappoint! We love the short walk down to Kapalua (our favorite beach), and the proximity to the costal trail. The amenities like the included rental car, washer/dryer, beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, and beach toys are the icing on the cake! We feel at home here and hope we can visit again next summer. Thanks to KBM for the great communication!

Beautiful spot in a great location

This is a very spacious condo for a couple, with amazing views and close proximity to several beaches. Easy and pleasant walk to the Ritz and the beach there, to the tennis garden, and to Kapalua Bay beach with good snorkeling. A number of reviews mentioned wind noise, but Maui can be a windy place and this is an exposed location (hence the great views!). There was definitely wind noise, but we did not find it bothersome One star subtracted from Cleanliness, due to a couple of dead bugs and some ants, but this the tropics, so that is to be expected and not a big deal. The condo was very clean in all other respects. (Note to management: the ants seemed to like the scented Kleenex on the main floor bathroom sink. We move the Kleenex box to the back of the toilet and no more ants)

Beautiful location

So we knew to expect issues going back to Maui so soon, but we wanted to help the economy of the state and we love staying at the Kapalua Bay Villas. There was an issue with water (not anyone’s fault) the 1st day we were there. Management was splendid with communication and were making accommodations for plan B. The unit itself needs some tender loving care the upstairs bedroom has to windows that need replacement or fixing. The furniture in th upstairs deck should be updated- didn’t look usable. Both bathrooms could use a Plummer but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Big one bedroom, two level condo.

FIRST TO GOOD: later the tiny bad... Great management. They communicated perfectly all the way. Great parking, one way street or in a lot, but easy and close. Beautiful views from upstairs, downstairs, and the bathroom. Everything you could need was provided. Bed very comfortable, king size in giant room. Very Clean. Very nice floors. Beautiful windows everywhere. THE TINY BAD: mangement wanted to come and fix while we were there, but I declined as I wanted to relax, but there were 4 maintanence issues. 1. Dryer had no heat, so it would not dry, 2. Shower drained very slowly. 3. Upstairs toilet ran on and on, wasting water. 4. Wind blows under door right by bed, causing a loud whistling noise that make it impossible to sleep. Putting a towel down solved the whistling noise. I recommend making sure these 4 things are fixed and you should have a very beautiful stay.

Amazing view. Quiet.

The views cannot be beat and are right by our favorite beaches. Condo was spacious. We didn’t use the air conditioner at night because the vent spit little drops water on us as we slept. Doesn’t seem to work well upstairs in the bedroom anyway but the windows and ceiling fan kept us comfortable enough. Some reviews noted problems with the ac. We think this condo is one of the best situated in the resort for both view and convenience.

Location Is ideal: Views, Privacy, Beach proximity, Hiking proximity.

Wonderful location and condo. Great views out of 1st floor living room and 2nd floor bedroom. Opened up the windows for 3 days of fresh ocean air and views of Paradise. Sunrises over the mountains and sunsets over the water.

Lovely vacation rental

This is our fourth stay in Maui and we typically stay at my husband’s family’s residence at a nearby hotel. We wanted to stay in Kapalua again and saw this rental online and fell in love. Staying here was perfect. The views, the private beach and the familial vibe was amazing. We plan to come back soon.

Beautiful estate and grounds. Enjoyed our walks and sitting with morning coffee/dinner with lanai doors open feeling tropical breeze and view. Easy check in and responses in timely manner when questions asked. If we have the chance would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Getaway

This was our first visit to Maui and boy did this condo not disappoint. Located at the northern tip of West Maui, the area is very quiet and laid back. The condo was a short walk (not even 5 minutes) to Oneloa Beach and had direct access to the Kapalua Coastal Trail/Ironwood Cliffs. Kapalua Bay Beach where we had excellent snorkelling was a mere 3 minute drive away. The condo was well stocked with everything we could have needed. The property manager was quick to respond when we asked for different linens and a blanket. And the view, well the view is unparalleled. I spent HOURS every day on the lanai and from the dining table watching whales play in the bay. The entire condo offers several vantage points to whale watch and to watch the sunset and the sunrise over the ocean. The only downside to our stay was that the unit next door is being completely renovated (and looks like it will be for a while yet) so there is a lot of construction noise as well as workers coming and going and hearing their conversations quite clearly. Other than that, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location. Nightmare of a stay.

The location and space was lovely, but the stay was horrible because a work crew was repainting the condo while we were there. The owners didn't notify us in advance and never gave us a chance to choose to change our reservation to another time, so we were stuck. Work started every day at 8am. Extremely loud power tools, loud workers, scaffolding, lack of privacy. I was trying to recover from a serious health issue, but unable to rest unless I left the building all day. No recourse. Had a couple other issues with the condo, but management resolved those as quickly as possible. The only time I ever came to Hawaii and left relieved. Thousands of dollars spent. Compensation offered was $160. What a slap in the face.

Honeymoon Stay

This villa has a beautiful view of the ocean both upstairs and downstairs. The parking is so easy - it"s located right outside the villa and we never had any issue with finding a spot during out 6 night stay. Overall, it was clean throughout, although we did find a few hairs in the "clean" towels, but wasn't really an issue - we just didn't use it. The villa has such a large amount of space for up to 4 people comfortably. There are so many amenities available that helped us feel more relaxed - the kitchen has everything you need, and the washer/dryer is such a great addition especially for those who have a longer stay. A few areas that could be improved: upon our arrival we had a broken window blind in the upstairs bedroom obstructing the view. We notified management of the issue, who did take down the blinds and stated it would be replaced. However, this was never followed through and affected our privacy throughout our stay. Also, the bathroom could be a little upgraded, and there were some things we noticed that were broken and held into place with duct tape. These were probably our only main issues but didn't greatly affect how much we did enjoy our stay. The beach is a very short walk away, as well as a lovely walking trail. It's also in a quieter area, which is also a must. The pool was clean and super close as well.

Outstanding

We absolutely loved our stay at Kapalua Bay Villas. The property was gorgeous and we enjoyed a 180 degree view of the ocean, Kapalua, and Honolulu Bay. We loved sitting out on our lanai in the morning sipping coffee, whale watching, with the tradewinds in our hair. Unit B15unit 3 was just spectacular with floor to ceiling windows on the backsides both stories. There is nothing like waking up and falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves and rustling palms. There are many great hiking trails and breathtaking beaches within a few minute walk. We will certainly stay in this unit next time we are in Maui....5 stars in every way!!!

Absolutely Beautiful View and Location!!

This property is amazing and has the best view. The restaurants nearby are fabulous. The only issue if it is even considered an issue is the neighbor next to us seemed very into us coming and going. Asked us who we were and if we were the family, told us we "sure had a lot of trash to dump in dumpster" etc. We are very clean people, so yes we dumped our trash daily. If you don't mind the neighbor watching your every move then this will not bother you at all. She was very nice, just felt we were being watched daily. Not the owner's fault and I sure would not let this hold you back.

Vacation 2020

The house was beautiful, The initial picture makes it look like there are no homes between you and the water but that is not true. The view was still wonderful! An added treat that I wasn't expecting was the whale activity usually first thing in the morning and at dusk! The home it's self was well equipped with everything we needed.
