Fjällstugor i Karangasem

“Loved staying here to get away from the ubud and seminyak traffic and experience the eastern part of bali It was the perfect base for our diving trips, as amed and tulamben USAT are so close by. A huge shoutout to Dayu at the front desk, who suggested we join the rice fields activity! Walking through the nearby fields, learning about the subak irrigation system, and trying out actual farming activities was such a wonderful hands on experience. We ended up spending plenty of time hanging out...

“I really can't think of anything negative about this place. It was quiet, I loved my bungalow (incl the covered outdoor bathroom), loved the pool, nice pool towels, room amenities incl extras I haven't seen in other hotels in Bali or Sumatra, good A/C, coffee replenished daily, friendly and helpful staff. Suggestion: having slippers and/or a sarong to wear to the pool would be a nice touch. Restaurant and transfer service is higher priced than others available. The warung at the end of...

“Schönes ruhiges Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitenden und Ausblick auf die Reisfelder”

“Great location with well appointed villas, with the soothing sound of waves at the nearby beach being a constant pleasure. The staff team were great, very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, especially Babap Ketut and his crew who were able to quickly meet all our needs. Thank you all for an enjoyable weekend.”

Nice hotel with a well kept garden, clean and rather large room, great food and super friendly staff. If you want to go snorkeling, the fishermen will be happy to take you for about 300' IDR (2019). The Blue Lagoon is quite nice in spite of the cheesy name. The beach however is a bit busy with lots of fishing boats and locals trying to push merchandise on you. We usually like to...

“I booked a deluxe room with ocean view. Their property is right on the beach, not merely nearby, like many other places that have beach in their name. Friendly staff, great restaurant, hot shower, big clean room, balcony, cold a/c. Near snorkelling sites. I highly recommend this stay.”

“The place was nice. Pool was very good however the AC in our room wasn’t very good, we had it on 16 degrees and it still felt hot in the room. We also couldn’t lock our toilet door. The WiFi was not good, it kept going in and out even early mornings when a lot of people were sleeping. The breakfast was nice, alot of options. We did the snorkeling tour that the hotel offers and it was amazing. Our guide, Eddie was great, he took us out to all the best spots and we had an amazing time. The price...
