“Excelente Trato, Emmanuel nos recibió y fue muy agradable , nos explico los Tours que hacen ellos y fue un acierto total, Eric fue un guia muy experimentado con mucha pasion por su trabajo, se esmero en explicarnos muchos detalles, vimos animales increíbles, y el Hotel esta excelente considerando que Tortugero no tiene mucha infraestructura, pero no tuvimos ninguna decepción! There is a bus stop on the main road halfways to Puerto Viejo but if you travel first time with bus it is easier to jump off in Puerto Viejo and (if you have luggage) to take a taxi or a tuk-tuk which is cheap. “The hotel room itself was fine, but the internet barely worked and the tv was internet based so it didn’t work at all. The person who checked us in didn’t wear a mask and insisted that we “go to an ATM to pay in cash,” even though we had put our credit card in through Hotels.com. “The Expedia description does not match the actual accommodation: It is not a 4 star guest house but rather a 2 star hostel. Also, we couldn’t find the house in the first place since it has no name on it, neither would people living there know the place (in the hostel itself it then shows a different name).
