Hotell nära Katedralen i Périgueux

“Prefect location! By the historic centre and still easy availability by car.”

“I was traveling with my family — two adults and two small children (a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old) — and booked a double room, as I’ve done many times in other hotels without issue. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that having four people in a double room was not allowed. I calmly explained that we had never encountered this policy before and asked why we would need to pay for an extra bed, especially since our baby doesn’t even use one. The receptionist was unwilling to listen, and...

“We stayed at Domaine Pouzelande for five nights, and it was simply outstanding. Without a doubt, it was the highlight of our three week holiday in France, during which we stayed at seven different places. The owners are absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They happily gave us recommendations, booked restaurants for us, and even arranged a wonderful canoe trip. Their kindness, warmth, and generosity...

“Bra hotel med rymliga rum. Bra frukost! ”

“This place was a wonder spot to explore the area. Our hosts were very welcoming. The Chateau is extremely well decorated and restored. The rooms are large and have every luxury. There is a wonderful dog at the property that is very friendly. For those that have an expensive car that they do not want scratched by a happy dog jumping up, best to park before the property and walk in. Let the owners know you have arrived and they will make sure that Skye is in the house until you park.”

“Some problems of coordination between Expedia and an austere receptionist. A somewhat hectic check-in as a consequence. I don't regret the stay at all and would definitely stay there again on another occasion.”

“Christian and Katherine are fantastic hosts and took exceptional care of us. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well looked after. The food and wine were exquisite with stunning views over the river. Really special place. Thank you! ”

“AC was good and staff were nice. Beds had clean sheets. Very outdated. The toilet had rust stains. Dead bugs around the room and window. Really felt like a motel. Definitely did not seem like a 3 star hotel.”
