âBrief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well.â
âI was traveling with my family â two adults and two small children (a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old) â and booked a double room, as Iâve done many times in other hotels without issue.
Upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that having four people in a double room was not allowed.
I calmly explained that we had never encountered this policy before and asked why we would need to pay for an extra bed, especially since our baby doesnât even use one. The receptionist was unwilling to listen, and...
âThis was a delightful 2*hotel in a beautiful setting. After a long drive the pool was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and the food excellent. Very convenient for our visit to Perigueux. â
âThis is a charming and elegant facility with a friendly, helpful proprietor who went out of his way to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay. A couple with two to four children would feel like a royal family here. Low-to-the-floor beds and lack of adequate storage space were a bit awkward for two older ladies in what would be the children's room. All in all, a delightful experience.â
âThis hotel is a beautiful oasis very close to historic villages and towns. The rooms are atmospheric and well appointed, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the restaurant is outstanding. Being at Chateau des Reynats was a blissful experience.â
âAn ok Hotel in a bit boring location. But with a really nice forest with various tracks next to it. A calm atmosphere surrounds the whole Hotel and the service is very good. Comfortable beds and nice room. The breakfast was ok. If you want to party this is not a Hotel for you but it's perfect for familys and people on the road.â
