Breakfast was included in the price but unfortunately had to walk 3 blocks away to another Hotel. Manager was kind enough to let us use the room until later in the day as we had to wait for the bus, and there was nowhere in Katherine to store lugguage.

We arrived early and because our room was not ready, we were given another so we could settle in. Jean-Claude was very pleasant and helpful. Self check-in was easy. Breakfast was very good but you do have to go to another motel a couple of blocks away. Not a problem for us but useful to know beforehand.

Territory quality, an excuse for poor quality.
Very mediocre overall. Check-in mid afternoon was unattended with no email to advise code for key box, luckily another resident had access when we arrived. Didn’t see anyone at reception through the stay. Rooms are tired and I’ll-equipped.

We found the stay to be very pleasant. The self serve check in was well organised and very easy. Rooms were nice and the stay was very comfortable.

Do not stay here on a Friday night. The motel units share a wall with the beer garden which has very loud karaoke until midnight on Friday that sounds like it is inside your room. Their website now has a warning about it but there is nothing on wotif. The rooms were renovated inside but everything else about it was pretty poor.

This would have to be one of the worst accommodation experiences that I have ever had. Trying to access the property is a nightmare, despite the sign at reception saying that it was manned from 7am to 7pm, this became the first of many untruths about the property. At 5pm trying to access the property involved putting in a code to a keypad on a lock box - a couple of issues here, most of the numbers worn off the key pad, torrential tropical storm, getting drenched and the code didn't work. Next issue, accessing the car park, still bucketing down, and having to get out of the car to input a code into another key pad. The room had the worst bathroom I have ever experienced, $175 for a night and would struggle to be 1 star. How about this paid for breakfast with the booking, info in the room stated that the Coffee Club next door was the place to get breakfast, but no, according to the Coffee Club manager they stopped providing breakfast for hotel guests over 12 months ago DON'T STAY AT THIS "RIP-OFF" ESTABLISHMENT.

A very basic motel in centre of Katherine, with poor signage (couldn’t find entry on first arrival). Room ok & clean, tho bathroom in need of modernisation. Could hear neighbours through (locked) interconnecting door. Not a pleasant looking motel to stay in. Breakfast was included, but now provided offsite at another motel, so didn’t partake of it. Not a comfortable place to stay, felt unsafe, & didn’t linger in the room any longer than we had to.

VERY overpriced, I was expecting so much more for the price we paid and as for the secure parking I’m a 62 year old female and I could have climbed the fence, karaoke going on next door so no chance of relaxing after driving many Klms, that was during the day then paper thin walls meant we had no sleep because our neighbour snored all night. Would definitely not go back

Clean, well serviced and seamless experience Arrived late and left early, no staff around but check in and out very clear and easy. Cafe on corner for breakfast and several dinner options within walking distance

Basic hotel.
Basic place to stay for a couple of nights, a bit tired looking but they have started renovations. Quick check in and check out. Problems at time with electronic car park gate. Works sometimes but can be difficult at other times. Room has most convinces, air con works great. Room cleaned daily, great restaurant on site for diner, huge meals. Hotel bar area around lunchtime no go as locals use.

Chris was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable, the room was modern and clean, and the premises felt secure. The inclusion of breakfast at the adjoining Coffee Club was a great bonus.

Any Night but Karaoke Night
This motel in the centre of Katherine has small rooms but with the amenities we look for. Comfortable beds, efficient air-con, block-out blinds, desk and chair, fast wifi with secure connection, a very cool frig, kettle and a kitchen bench with microwave, plates, cups and eating utensils. It would be even better if management had been able to put a sink in this bench, instead of washing up in a bathroom sink with no plug. Apart from no plug, the bathroom was clean, functional, with a walk-in shower and a clothes drying rail in the shower. Breakfast, included in the tariff, is served in the coffee shop next door. So good that we returned to the coffee shop for lunch. Dinner, Australian pub food, is available in the Stuart Hotel, adjacent to the motel. At check-in the proprietor reminded me that Friday night is Karaoke. This is advertised on the hotel web-site as very noisy, starting and ending late. He advised earplugs. He was correct about the Karaoke noise! We slept but other guests did not. The following night all was quiet, no noise from traffic or passers-by. If you are a light sleeper, check the web-site and avoid this motel on Karaoke nights.

Great location, lots of space and really good value. Breakfast at coffee club included unexpectedly for free. Room nicely renovated and the Manager was exceptionally helpful in meeting our needs. Pool terrific. Only criticism is that smoking is permitted outdoors so the smell of that can permeate the rooms at time. Fix that and this is 5 out of 5 (recognising that you’re in Katherine so don’t expect the Hilton).

You can tell the rooms are a bit older, but they are a good size and have nice amenities, e.g. microwave, fridge, WiFi, and hair dryers. The pool is also very nice (but very chilly)!

Location : Very convenient, 1st hotel off the Stuart Highway, along stretch of shops, walk to Katherine Tourist Information Centre, Coles, Target. Gated Carpark Security : automatic gate opens & closes when u press code on the wall. Room : Newly refurbished & clean, generous small bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body soap. Breakfast : At The Coffee Club 2-3 shops away from hotel, choose from their main menu including Big Breakfast. Very generous. Restaurant/Pub : at doorstep. Loud live band in the afternoon till 4pm & Friday nights. If you are out on day trips in Katherine & not stay over on a Friday night like us, the live music will not disturb you & you will get a quiet night of sleep. If you enjoy loud live music band & sleep late, come stay over Friday nights.
