“Easy to get to, quiet and central to the region. Sliding entry gate a bit 'iffy' at times. Staff were great, excellent! Pool was good. WiFi not great...a bit slow so TV pixellated a lot and slow internet access for personal equipment. Restaurant not open every night, but the food was really good and delivered to your room. Would stay again if opportunity arose.”

“For what it is, it’s good value. I was very worried about my car getting vandalised or broken in to as I had been told bad things about Katherine. Stayed here over rodeo weekend. Great pressure hot water in shower. Tea and coffee provided. Beds were clean and comfortable. TV didn’t seem to work but I have found that to be the case with every TV at every hotel / place of accommodation that I have stayed at between Mt Isa and Darwin. So this is not a dealbreaker for me. “Decent cheap hotel in a strange but interesting little town. Close to the main street, walking distance to everything. Small pool just outside the rooms. Breakfast was included in our price so for what we paid we are very happy.”

“The booking went through on Expedia for a same day, last minute booking. No information was available on the initial Expedia listing to illustrate what time reception closed. The booking was made after reception had closed. I called a number and told a man that I would be arriving late. He was reasonably helpful. He provided a pin code for the room. “Great location walking distance to The hot springs. The family cabin was a decent size. Small double bed. Mostly clean cabin. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice pool but didn’t get to use it on our short overnight stay.”

“They are using cheap internal doors as external doors which have been punched and kicked in making unsafe rooms. We told them it was unacceptable and were given the room next door. The rooms are dirty and need to be upgraded. We woke up covered in bug bites. would not recommend this property.”

“Lovely large, clean room with high ceiling & a very comfortable bed. Parking provided directly in front of the room which was very convenient. Ceiling fan provided was helpful but a little noisy. Air conditioning works well. Coffee and tea making facilities only. Washing machine use was free! Good size flat screen TV with lots of channels and streaming options. Pool and restaurant on site set in very pleasant surroundings. Would benifit from a shelf in the shower and a towel rail. A funny bonus...

“Should have been advised re the 4 year renovations that were going on. No Bathroom/changeroom near Pool. The access to our room was ridiculously long and hot and confusing….it was like a maze. No offer of help for two women in their seventies. Smelt a little mouldy. No a great experience. The Pool is wonderful but needs a good clean and maintenance.”
