“Location was perfect for 10 minute walk to convention at Grand Hyatt and beach. Never made it to the pool, not sure where it’s at. 2 minute drive to poipu beach where 20 large turtles were resting and beautiful sunset. The use of chairs, umbrella, ice chest and snorkeling gear was very convenient. ”

“the host was available and responsive when needed. i booked at the last minute, and was graciously accommodated. the room was as in photos. very clean with all amenities needed for a pleasant visit. you can’t beat the location! I was a resident on Kauai for 10 years, and being in Poipu was a desirable area since it is convenient to restaurants and shopping if that’s of interest for you. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again myself in the future. ”

“Everything is worn and slightly broken. For the cost I was expecting more upkeep. Lots of ants nightly coming in from three different spots. Found the ant killer spray and that took care of one of the entrances, seems like all the bug traps are luring them in.”

Several days strangers set up lawn chairs in front of our view on the grass and every sunrise there was a pack of noisy people standing out on the grassy area to right (residents in units without views?). With all the people roaming around, felt had to keep curtains closed at night which limited air flow and lovely views of stars. "Hotel was an older property, in a quiet part of Lihue. Room was in reasonable condition, the room was clean but showed some of the age of the property but don't think that is an easy fix and was part of the charm. The room fridge was very helpful, as was the small amount of utensils provided. All the staff were very friendly and kind. Was able to store luggage prior to check-in and after check-out which was a big help. The coffee available was good and an added bonus. Parking was limited but never had any problems finding a space. The local chickens were a bonus, watching them strut around the streets. "
