“Well the property is under construction which we weren’t aware of upon our stay. The hot tub and part of the pool were closed off. An entire floor was closed to contractors being present during the day so it was hard to get from to pool and to lobby. The room itself was also dirty and only one working elevator made timing issues.”

“Room was too outdated. Staff were fantastic, Didn’t have to use the hot tub and spa. Parking charges is ridiculously expensive although knew that per booking. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day to start our day and had a great time mainly relaxing by the pool and walks on the beach. ”

“Everything is more and less closed after 9 in the evening and the service level is poor for being a luxury resort. If service was on same level as the resort it sealf it would have been more than excellent. Moreover, they had No guards on bech or pool and food was of low level. We did however have a great vecation on this wounded full iland of Kaua’i.”

“We had a wonderful time in this sweet spot at Hanalei Bay. The apartment was well outfitted and had the most gorgeous view! The resort had nice features such as an on site restaurant, beautiful pool and laundry and ice close to the unit. Very close to Hanalei town for shopping and restaurants as well as great beach locations. Perfect for a couple looking to relax and enjoy the best of Kauai!”

“The ground floor unit was lovely! It was as described, kitchen had everything you needed, appliances were newer, clean throughout. Bed was a king size and comfortable. We didn’t have a view of the ocean, but wasn’t a far walk to sit and enjoy the fabulous view this complex had. Pool was nice. The landscaping was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. We recommend! ”

“The place was very clean and amenities provided were excellent! It was great to have beach gear (towel, cooler, chairs). The bathrooms and bedrooms were very accommodating for a family of five! The hosts were very quick to answer questions. The only reason for 4 stars was that the place overlooked the parking lot which I wasn't aware of. ”

Joan certainly does not oversell when she says the view of her condo is absolutely breath taking. It certainly is all of that and then some. "Hotel was an older property, in a quiet part of Lihue. Room was in reasonable condition, the room was clean but showed some of the age of the property but don't think that is an easy fix and was part of the charm. The room fridge was very helpful, as was the small amount of utensils provided. All the staff were very friendly and kind. Was able to store luggage prior to check-in and after check-out which was a big help. The coffee available was good and an added bonus. Parking was limited but never had any problems finding a space. The local chickens were a bonus, watching them strut around the streets. "
