“This property was a pleasure to stay at. The kitchen was very well equipped and only lacked for proper (glass) wine glasses. The living room had an abundance of good reading lights which is something that many rental cottages lack. It was lovely to hear the babbling river as we enjoyed happy hour on the sunny deck. A real pleasure!”

“Really nice property located about 10 minutes outside of Fenelon Falls. Property has been beautifully updated and has all needed amenities. It’s a short walk from the lake at the end of the road. I did book thinking the property was directly on the lake but wasn’t overly disappointed that it was a backlot with slight slivers of lake view from the property in front. It’s a very nice quiet getaway location for a couple or small family. My daughter and I were looking to just relax and read and it...

“We had a great experience. The host was very nice and accommodating. Only thing for people to remember is bring cutlery and plates and cups.”

“Cottage was wonderful. 4 bedrooms which were more than accommodating . Fenced in deck which allowed for our dog and small children to run around. The lake was gorgeous and perfect for our inflatable raft. Fishing was perfect for the kids as there are a ton of smaller fish that hover the dock allowing for an easy catch for the kiddos. Definitely looking forward to staying again.”

“Wanted to get out of toronto for a few nights before the kids went back to school. Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .”

“We spent 3 relaxing nights at this cozy cottage. It had everything we needed just to disconnect for a few days. Comfortable beds and pillows, a fire pit, Muskoka chairs on the dock, 2 kayaks, pet friendly. Alona is a super host, very easy to reach. The only issue was we were not able to use the washing machine cause it needs a special detergent and we didn't feel like driving to get a bottle just for one load. We’d like to come back this Summer.”

“It was our second time within two months so that should tell you how the overall experience was. Everything was great again and our host went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. We are planning to go back in the spring again”

“The place is not as it is described and full of dirt and black molds plus strange insects on beds. The sheets are not clean at all and you have to wash them be careful. I would give zero star if I could as I am really disappointed. We had to sleep in the car”

“Overall, a beautiful, well kept cottage. Had everything we needed. The owner was responsive to my questions. It would have been helpful if the owner advised me that someone would be on the property to cut the grass during my stay. There were also four adults still on the property when I arrived at 4pm looking for a cell phone. Not a huge deal, but communication regarding these two things would have been appreciated.”

“Great stay, weather wasn't great but thats in no ones control. Hosts were wonderful. There was a slight delay in the check-in process which was slightly frustrating but otherwise everything was great.”
