“Ett rymligt rum med stora sköna sängar. Från balkongen hade vi lite havsutsikt och jag misstänker att de flesta rummen har det. Vi stannade bara en natt så vi hann inte testa eller uppleva så mycket, men den lilla stranden var utmärkt. Vi avstod från att köpa frukostbuffé eftersom vi kände oss för stressade. Min enda invändning är att parkeringen var lite dyr, 35 dollar per dag, med tanke på att det handlar om en relativt liten ort. Jag återvänder gärna.”

“We loved our stay here. We only stayed one night because we had other places to explore on the island, but we would have loved to spend more time at Barbara's residence. It's a very peaceful place with lush vegetation and soothing decor. We spent the night in the Lomilomi room, which was beautifully decorated (refined, harmonious, serene) and spacious. We arrived in the evening, but in the morning we were able to enjoy the superb view of the sea and the cliffs in the distance from the room....

“Läget är toppklass om man vill bo centralt i Kona. Städningen var perfekt. Supereffektiv air-condition. Endast engångsartiklar (muggar, bestick, tallrikar) till frukosten är inte särskilt hållbart. Rent allmänt sker ingen källsortering på Hawaii utan både returflaskor och allt annat slängs i samma kärl. Frukosten är väldigt enkel sett ur svenskt perspektiv. Balkong hade varit ett pluss.”

“There's so many good things to say. The house is just GORGEOUS with a spectacular view. The breakfast prepared by Hannah was out of this world - so many choices and all was exceptional (hopefully she'll make you her grandmother's banana apple pancake topping). We're gonna be back”

“If I could live here, I would! My only issue here is that there's no AC. I get why they don't have AC, because it's right on the water and the breeze and the sound of the waves - it's all sooo good. But it's a bit rough when you're trying to get ready to go out for the night, or pack to leave. So you pack and get 95% ready, then jump in that salt water pool one last time to cool off. Honestly, it was a highlight of my trip and priced just right too!”

“I've travelled a lot over the last 4 decades and Kona Palace has the best view of any property I've stayed in. It is cozy and secluded and it was amazing just to sit on the patio and watch the sun come up from the side of a mountain! The surrounding foliage is beautiful and the accomodations are comfortable. The cherry on top was finding we had a hot tub!”

“The view was amazing and the condo had a large lanai with comfortable furniture to enjoy it. Everything was clean, and well stocked, including the kitchen for cooking meals. The building itself is a bit dated, but the condo was comfortable and the bedding, towels, etc. all felt fairly new. There was no AC, but the fans helped keep the temperature comfortable. ”
