Grounds of the hotel were also excellent for walking. Obviously helped with it being with a golf course so lots of space but nice walks in fields surrounding also and well layed out paths. â

âThe hotel was really nice and clean with spacious rooms. However the rooms were just so warm that I did not sleep well which is why I will choose another hotel next time. There was a stand alone air conditioner but they are very noisy so it was not possible to have it turned on during the night. If the heating was fixed I could choose this hotel again. Everything else about it was nice. â
âVery nice little hotel with very nice and friendly staff. Close walk to the beach. A little hot in the room but to be expected in the summer. There was a fan in the room to cool it down a little. Slept very well. â

âLovely rooms for a short stay in Folkestone and a fantastic breakfast. Only small comment would be that in the summer when the day starts really early, the shutters don't really block the light so we were not able to have much of a lie in - although this is personal preference and only a small comment on an otherwise lovely stay.â
âRight from Check-in, Mary and her staff made me feel very welcome. Mary was very helpful at every turn even going above and beyond. The room was very good size and very clean. Perfect place to stay!â
âStayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect.

"I really loved the room on the top floor facing Dover Castle. It was like having a wonderful piece of art just outside the window.
I also loved the whiteness and the minimalistic interiors of the place.
I used the kitchenette and it was totally fine except from the fridge which was so cold my fresh vegetables froze.
I stayed for 5 nights and the only really downsides of the place was that the toilets were not being cleaned for several days.
The owners were also very slow in responding to several guests trying to contact them because the guests needed support in some different ways.
I would recommend the place despite this though. It is placed in a very quiet part of Dover and I did like the atmosphere in the building. "
