“Views were spectacular. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are modest but well appointed and clean. The food is very good but a bit spendy. Caught my first king salmon in the fishing hole. I would stay there again. ”

“This cabin had an amazing view! It was nice and cozy, fit all 4 of us nicely and the only downside was hearing traffic all night long as we were in the cabin closest to the road. ”

“The rooms were superb. Very nice place. Recommendation: have people remove their shoes in their rooms. It would help keep the floors nicer longer and it would be quieter for those in the floors below. We will definitely stay with you all again. ”

“If you’re headed to Seward this is the absolute best place to stay. I am absolutely in love with this quiet remote place. It is nicely tucked away in the middle of the woods. The owner Gary is usually in the office when you enter. He is warm, informative and extremely pleasant to deal with. He had two assistants that were equally as pleasant and helpful. The cabins were well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The place was safe, well kept and just a dream get away for anyone...

“After reading several bad reviews, i was pleasantly surprised. Maybe a little outdated, but clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Accomadated our late arrival with a welcoming smile. Would definitely recommend. Also the restaurant adjoining, The Catch was very good.”
