“The property where this beautiful mansion-like home is located is exquisite. From a distance, the drive feels like approaching something special, which it is. If you like natural beauty and quiet, come. If you enjoy birds and deer and lush greenery, come. The staff was attentive. The room I had (with a long balcony) faced the back and was perfect for me. “Upon check-in, there was no mention that the parking lot was being repaved. I only learned about it after raising concerns about the lack of available parking. Because I had to work late a couple of evenings, finding parking was especially difficult during the first two nights of stay. I was also uncomfortable with the adjoining room door. “The hotel is next to the Highway 50 to Washington. Pleasent staff, rooms where guit big, no problems. Breakfest was not a continental breakfest, everything to eat was tasteles and booring. Dry bagels. There where waffles but they did not taste anything. So if you want a ok hotell next to the highway, good, but your going hungry.”
