Ägarna har gett mycket bra boende som de helt renoverade, med bra faciliteter, inklusive ett badrum på varje nivå, välutrustat kök och Wi-Fi-internet. Det finns en uteplats i bakre trädgården och på gatan parkering på framsidan, i denna lugna bostadsgata. Causey Cottage är säker på att visa sig mycket populär, med närhet till bekvämligheter kombinerat med utmärkt boende och ett brett utbud av promenader från dörren. Golf och fiske i närheten. Butik, pub och restaurang 400 meter.

We enjoyed a brilliant few days at this cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. It was great to have parking outside the house and be able to walk in to Keswick. We highly recommend Causey Cottage and look forward to returning in the future.

Superb - comfortable, well equipped, everything worked.

Superb - comfortable, well equipped, everything worked. Short walk to Keswick centre and Lakeshore, "corner shop" less than 5 mins walk for emergency milk etc. There's always pressure on parking in this bit of Keswick but this road is just a bit away from the main road and we always found a space reasonably nearby. Ideal base for 4 people, we'll be back!

5th time at this very comfortable cottage. Superb location for exploring Keswick and beyond. The cottage was very clean on arrival, and warm and welcoming given the miserable weather when we arrived. Some items had been removed in accordance with Covid precautions, but this didn't affect our stay at all. The only slight issue was the upstairs electric shower, which seemed a lot less powerful that we remember. Just a trickle now There is a downstairs bathroom with a good shower, and a bath, although the water temperature is rather cool if using the bath. We prefer to be able to use the upstairs shower, rather than go downstairs. However, this isn't such a big problem, ad we have booked another visit to this cottage next year. Only downside is the parking, as the street is crowded with cars, and on arrival day we couldn't park anywhere near, which was a pain with all our luggage. Plus it was really cold when we were there so we used the fire, when you use this and temp in room goes over 20 degrees it knocks the central heating off so warm in living room, very cold elsewhere.
