“My son and I had a lovely couple of nights at the lodge. The park was peaceful and beautiful with all the trees around. My son enjoyed using the pool and the playground. The lodge was well equipped with plenty of plates, cups, pans, cutlery etc. Bedding and towels are charged extra, which I didn’t realise until after booking, but worth it for not having the hassle of making up beds. The lodge was spotlessly clean in every room. The welcome gifts were much appreciated after our journey. ...

“Our stay was over a rainy long weekend but the lodge was perfect after returning from a wet day out. Everything is there, with some added personal touches like welcome hamper and toys for the kids. Clean and tidy. Only small issue was no WiFi in the lodge. My teenagers were not impressed but treated it as a detox. The owner said she would check with the owners of the park as they were looking to improve the signal. I would recommended booking any online visits etc before getting to the lodge....

“We stayed for 5 days at this beautiful lodge, and it had everything you could hope for. The lodge itself is stunning, well maintained and gave a truly luxurious base for exploring the area. The hot tub was a huge hit, and was a god send during the February cold winds and rain. Location wise, it is a short 3 minute walk to the closest pub and bakery (I highly recommend the curry night on a Thursday).
