Kihei Surfside ligger precis vid havet. De flesta lägenheter i Kihei ligger tvärs över gatan från stranden. Kihei Surfside är mycket tystare eftersom det ligger vid havet och ligger tillbaka från S. Kihei Road med flera hundra meter. Vår byggnad, Kihei Surfside, har inte luftkonditionering. Vi är direkt vid havet och Pacific Trade Winds blåser i rätt av havet varje eftermiddag. Dessa handelsvindar, tillsammans med takfläktar i vardagsrummet och sovrummet, håller lägenheten bekväm för de flesta. This was a lovely property with a great host. Being able to walk right out of the unit into the park and to the beach path was a nice plus too. The A/C units were quick and quiet, and the upper windows in the bedroom allowed a breeze to pass through the unit too. Great experience — would stay again.

This place is perfect. The host is super quick to respond- and very helpful. The condo is very well cared for, clean and intentionally organized. The mattresses are super comfortable, which to me always shows attention to care to the guests. I have zero complaints- only raves! I can’t wait to return.

We had an incredible stay at Elizabeth’s condo. The walk to the beach is easy and the ground floor location is amazing. We had a great trip exploring lots that Maui has to offer. We loved having a nice air conditioned home to arrive back to after all of our adventures!

This unit was great, but we wish that A/C was included.It was hot inside. Outdoor temperature was 88 deg. and inside was up to 80 deg with fans working. And there was no closet for dresses. But everything else was very good

The perfect spot

Amazing

Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here in January. Everything was outstanding. Convenient location in south kihei close to restaurants, shops, etc. The lawn area was beautifully manicured and the ability to walk directly out from the ground floor property was great. One of the best beaches in Maui just steps away with good snorkeling. Condo was very clean and well equipped. Everything you need to make all your meals if you prefer. The outdoor gas grills and dining area was a real plus. Host was easy to contact and very helpful. This was our third visit to maui and definitely the best place we've stayed, including some very nice resorts. Will definitely plan to return.

Convenient Stay in Kihei

We really enjoyed our stay here! The unit was clean and comfortable, and the proximity to the beach was really amazing. (The community lives up to the name "Surfside"--you can't get closer to the water.) It was also really conveniently located within Kihei--close enough to the main strip that dining and shopping options were easily accessible, but set back enough from Kihei Rd that traffic noise was nonexistent. Being on the ground level, we did experience a bit of noise from the community's back lawn area during peak usage hours, but our stay was overall quiet and relaxing. We would happily stay here again!

Amazing location

Amazing location! Host called us when we had internet issues. Very responsive. We used the BBQ outside. Only downside was no AC. Even with fans going it was 83 degrees in the bedroom so sleeping was uncomfortable.

Wowwee in Maui

Location is just WoW. Waking up in the morning looking out past the huge lawn area and seeing the ocean and mountain on the other side with all the palm trees in between…. Just WoW. The host Elizabeth was super awesome and so accommodating. What started as a 7 night stay here turned into 15 nights And we enjoyed every minutes of everyday. We were a family of 5 with 3 young ones ages 3, 7 and 10 and there was plenty of room. The place was immaculate and clean, very well organized and stocked! We are big on cooking our own food and there was everything needed, every utensil. Even a scale and baking supplies! Vitamix blender for hummus and smoothies. We ended up making pizza dough, cakes and many treats for the kids. Felt like we were at home! Truly a spectacular place and unforgettable stay. Thank you for taking care of us!

Simply the best

Perfect area / 24 steps to the pool. Loved being on ground floor. Very quiet and chilled area. The condo was central to everything from shopping to golfing. Very Clean peaceful need disappointed

The property and location is perfect to almost perfect, but still great. On the ocean super close to beach. Wish it was a little closer to restaurants, but still an ok walk. Property manager was super. Pool cleaning every morning. Grounds beautifuly kept. Spoiler/ disappointment at end of stay was cleaner said we stained sheets and there was an insurance claim. We left that bed as clean as it was hen we arrived. We are clean showering people. This was untrue and I believe the insurance was taken advantage of for new bedding. Beautiful and uggg at the same time.

Fabulous

Experience the ultimate view! We enjoyed the expansive lawn, heated pool, bbqs and bird feeding station. We saw many whales, including a double breech by a mama and baby. The condo was fully equipped. Plenty of towels and bedding. Friendly staff provided beach chairs and sand toys. Sunset was spectacular! I took a photo from a different spot every night.

Quick escape to paradise

We have stayed in Kihei several times but this was by far our favorite place to stay. The condo was small but very nice. The patio doors open to a magnificent view of the lawn, pool, and ocean. There are birds singing all around and in the morning we were welcomed by roosters and chickens with chics. There is a great walking trail that leads to turtles resting in the sand just a couple minutes away. The beach is fantastic, my husband loves the pool and you could see lots of whales spouting from there. Elizabeth, our host was easy to get in touch with and very helpful and friendly. Mahalo!

Under 30 min from airport. Very, very clean! Ample beautiful dishes, cups, mugs, pans, pots etc. ( loved the glass smoothie cups with glass staws) Glass containers for leftovers. Casserole dishes (vintage-loved!), large bowls for mixing or popcorn. Vitamix Coffee filters Pull out hide a bed was comfy. Tons of extra pillows, linens/blankets. Closer to the beach side of the condo and ten steps from pool -perfect. To the right is a trail along the ocean that takes you through the sea bird nesting grounds, straight to the public beach/tourist area ( 15 min walk) We loved exploring on the lava rocks and tide pools right in front. I would consider this place as "on the beach" Bathroom shower- amazing. Laundry room near No parking issues Note pads, games, guest book with tips. Little convenience store in the Mana Kai hotel next door ( 1 min walk) for snacks, sun lotion, food esentials etc. They carry 808 deli sandwiches. Foodland is about a 5 min drive Checkout requires you run the dishwasher, put all bedding on bed and toss towels in shower. Elizabeth obviously has outstanding style. High quality everything. This was perfect for our family ( kids 9 and 5)I researched for weeks before booking. The pictures on vrbo do not do it justice. Our 9 year old has social anxiety and ADHD, our 5yr old has sensory issues. We appreciated being able to scoot back from the beach to the condo quickly if the need be. You can be as social or non social on the lawn as you want.
