First, there was some mix up and the place was double booked, which we learned when a stranger walked into the place as we are getting ready for bed. They left and the management handled it but it was quite the shock. The place itself was really in a great location. It felt safe and was clean. Easy to park and get in/out of. The bed was very uncomfortable for me and my wife in fact she elected to sleep on the floor. The bedroom was a little warm at night, tried the AC window unit and it was super loud, couldn't use it and just stuck w the ceiling fan. Cant imagine it in the summer. Everything else we found acceptable.

Renovated and budget friendly condo in the center of the Kihei

The condo is in pretty good condition with 2 air-conditioning units, located almost in the center of the Kihei close by to the restaurants and grocery stores. We were impressed by the big water pool and good jacuzzi. It makes a real difference and gives a real feel of vacation when you return from the day's adventure exploring other areas of the Maui. The beach is just in 100-150 feet from the condo but the water may be not always as brilliant as in the stunning pictures. However, the sunsets and view are amazing. We usually drove 15-20 minutes south to stunning beaches like Makena.

Great beach access!

We had a great time staying here. This unit is only a short walk down the street from the beach, which we visited often. It has a great little courtyard area in the back with an open grassy area. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice, with a jacuzzi and grills you could use along with an outdoor seating area near the pool. The area was quiet and peaceful. The king sized bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, and we made use of the blow up mattress as well as the pull out couch. The "sleep mode" on the air conditioner in the bedroom doesn't work so the unit kept kicking on and off throughout the night. Using a separate fan and my sound machine I was able to cover up the noise. There was also noise from the upstairs neighbors walking around that bothered me a little bit. But I am extremely sensitive. :) The provided beach chairs were wonderful to use and the 'foot wash only' option on the shower was very useful to rinse off sandy toes. There are a fair amount of homeless people in the area, but this may be common on Maui in general, I'm not sure. We enjoyed the proximity to stores and coffee shops within walking distance. We would stay here again!

Loved our stay here!

This unit was PERFECT. Clean, updated, comfortable bed and pillows. Air conditioning worked great. Solid shower. Convenient keyless entry. It was so well equipped too. Very close walk to the pool and beach! The location of the condo building within Kihei is perfect too. It’s walking distance to all the good coffee shops and the Azeka centres. Maui is busy and this place felt quiet off the road, yet central to all the amenities. Even the beach by the condo is quieter than other parts of Kihei which was also nice. Definitely would come back here!

Perfect

Great stay in N Kihei! This condo was one of the best stocked VRBO’s I’ve ever rented. Everything I needed to cook, beach toys, etc were supplied. Great home base for a family. Beach behind the condo is not a great swimming beach but awesome for sunsets and turtle spotting. K beaches are a quick drive away. Nalu’s, our favorite restaurant, is across the street. Beds were super comfortable and the pull out couch was great for our two daughters 8 and 6. Pool and BBQ were immaculately clean and right across the lanai. Knives were sharp! The umbrella was broken so the maintenance manager loaned us his. Everyone was very friendly. We love Kihei and would recommend this unit to any family who is looking for a comfortable well stocked and clean condo.

Awesome condo! Great location!

We were very comfortable at this condo & felt right at home! Bed is super comfortable with soft sheets, very nice, big shower & updated kitchen! The whole condo is very modern & clean! Glad we decided to stay here for our Kihei trip! Lots of great restaurants & beach is so close i got up for sunrise every day! Laundry next to the unit & only $1.25. Grocery store walking distance too!

You canceled due to damage

We were not able to start at your condo due to water damage. But I will say that Christy was very helpful in getting us to someone else who could provide a place. Christy was very responsive and seemed to genuinely care. We very much appreciated that.! The only reason for the 4 stars is that we didnt know until the day before we were to arrive at this condo and we were already on vacation so it put a panic on our vacation. Christy did help with this though. So grateful.

Quick trip…didn’t want to leave.

I’m writing this review as I sit at the airport, heading home. I have stayed at Kihei Garden Estates in the past and this unit is one of the nicest. The neighborhood is quiet, close to restaurants and shops, and you practically trip on the beach, it’s so close. The bed was very comfy, after a long day at the beach. I used the pool and hot tub several times. There was only one minor problem with the check in process. The entry code had not been programmed for my access into the unit. I called Christy, and she promptly provided me with and alternative code. Other than this one small issue (which was not a big deal), everything else was spectacular. Goodbye for now, Maui. I’ll be back very soon.

Exciting part of town

This place is next to a ton of conveniences. Gas, grocery, food, and more. Nice quiet pool, not far from a cute beach, and was delivered cleanly for our use. Perfect for 2-3 ppl. Pull out couch worked great for 6yr old and bed was moderately comfortable.

Amazing!

First time staying at a rental home in general and this experience made it top notch travel for us! We were traveling with two young children so the convenience of home away from home was perfect for us! The bed and the pull out sofa bed were both extremely comfortable! The place was so clean and fully stocked with everything you need from a cookout to pool day to beach day! There’s even a Pack N Play FYI! The host was extremely helpful and so prompt to answer my texts. I highly recommend this place for your next vacation!

Quiet beautiful property

Close to shopping, across the street from the ocean. This property is so quiet, it’s almost unreal. The property manager was very quick to respond. Overall it was amazing.
