    Generell information:
     Maui Sunset ligger på över 5 hektar oceanfront på Kihei som anses vara en av de bästa platserna på Valley Isle. Kihei är noterat för sitt året runt solsken, mjuka handelsvindar och lugnande kvällsluft. Det är en av de torraste och mest soliga områdena på hela ön, i genomsnitt endast 10 tum per år! Världsberömda bad och snorkling stränder är några minuter på en av de många sandiga säkra stränderna i Kihei och närliggande Wailea. Bara en kort sträcka (6 miles) från fem mästerskap 18 håls resort golfbanor på Wailea och Makena. De två byggnaderna ramar och skyddar ett stort rekreationsområde som noggrant deltar och anlagts. Beautiful place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Maui Sunset. My only complaint is the ac turns off after 4 hours but we aren’t there for the room we are there to see Maui so I’d absolutely stay there again. Their cleaning practices for the property were immaculate and the grounds had quite a few amenities. My children loved the tennis and the golf. The property was also in a fantastic location! Close to so many things.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Maui Sunset, and this is our second time staying with them. Other than some very shredded curtains in our room (this was disappointing) and a broken table on the lanai (glass was broken in several place) everything was clean, in good condition and well stocked. The grounds are wonderful (though much less green at the end of May than we've seen in the past). The pool and other amenities are fabulous for families.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in Kihei as we have normally booked vacation spots in Kaanapali. What a surprise to stay in such a nice place which was located minutes to the main restaurants, beaches and shopping areas in Kihei. Close to Walia and Paia. The unit fit our entire family of 5 nicely. It was also nice to just walk out to the beach as well.

Super responsive and caring host

My husband and I stayed here for a week -- about halfway through the stay, I had found a bug that crawled out of the couch that looked questionable. I contacted the host immediately and he promptly sent an exterminator out the next morning to ensure it wasn't a larger issue (turned out to be just a beetle!). Property is super conveniently located for all the Maui activities you want to do and there's a huge park right at the property that you can hang out to watch sunset.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Maui Sunset is a well maintained condo complex. I would not consider it a resort (despite the resort fee). The unit we were in was functional. It was missing some very basic kitchen items such as a toaster and a frying pan, but those were provided very quickly when we asked for them. It is a quiet complex. It is well named as the sunsets are spectacular. Well situated to shopping and a short drive to the southern beaches.

Great value & would stay again

We really enjoyed our stay! We were here for a week and loved the area and Maui Sunset. Steve was responsive and helpful. We arrived late at night so it was a bit confusing to figure out where to go— look for “A” sign entrance, there are 2 entrances, and the unit is in the middle right next to the elevator. We brought a sound machine and didn’t have any trouble sleeping, but I’m sure without it we would’ve heard the people in the hallways and getting on/off the elevator. At one time this unit was probably an ocean view but the palm trees are so tall that they block the ocean. You can still hear it though and it’s a very short walk to the beach. The VRBO included everything you could need and more. The beach chairs and umbrella were in great condition, there are boogie boards, bamboo blankets, towels and a couple of kids sand toys as well. Some people complained of the smell of the washer, but we washed some clothes in there and they did not smell at all. The only complaint I have is the a/c units shut off after 4 hours so you may wake up hot in the middle of the night. Many other vrbo places don’t even have a/c and this place does. They also have several appliances and Netflix on the tv (you have to login). The main bedroom bed is comfortable— though a bit small for 2 people unless you’re small. You can feel the springs on the pull out couch but my husband still thought it was comfortable. The other pull out twin bed was very comfortable as well. Overall we were very pleased and would be happy to stay here again when we return to Maui!

One bedroom suite for 2 adults and 2 kids. Be aware Covid protocols remove all nice to haves - spices, condiments, Saran, tin foil from unit. Great location with amazing amenities. Stayed in unit A306 which is a great layout, good view and needing some TLC - pull out needs a new mattress, bathroom sink leaking in vanity, needs new blender (1/6 controls worked kind of), washing machine smells moldy and microwave shorts outs. We didn’t care as they were minor concerns - so happy to be in paradise and enjoy the pool and grounds! The grounds and pool are in immaculate condition, lovely beach, great sunsets. Would definitely return - Concierge lady Holland was amazing assisting Canadians with arranging covid testing for flights home. Would arrange a unit in better condition.

Reviewer Comments: Everything was great, the apartment was very clean, it had everything you need during your stay: fully equipped kitchen, washing and dryer machine, beach chairs, towels, good Wi-Fi, TV with streaming apps. My apartment had a great balcony with partial views of the ocean and the gardens. The area is very nice, the Condo is right on a beautiful beach park to watch the sunset. There are a few shops and stores close to the Condo, and you can even walk to them. I totally recommend Maui Sunset!

They are generally well equip.We found the fold out bed wasn't changed and the sheets bedroom were too small for the bed...however this was rectified the very next day.One of the beach chairs was torn up and not useable also. But all in all a nice unit.

BBQ was cleaned thoroughly each morning. Our unit (306) was clean and spacious but definitely dated. Washing machine STANK when we opened it and continued to do so. It should have work done on it for next season. Pool area was very cozy. I would recommend MAUI Sunset but not unit 306.

First time got a call back. 2nd time nothing but I figured it out how to rest the AC. AC units are older noisy and not really that efficient ... fine in bedroom but not powerful enough in the living room. Carpets looked clean but almost shag-like so who knows ... Decor and furniture are mostly 80s close to beach and pool bbq. Had most cooking equipment. Couple of casserole dishes were definitely still oily from use but easy to clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A long awaited family get away. The property was in a great spot to be able to easily tour the island. The property was well maintained, and any questions or needs were handled promptly and courteously. A surprising plus, was the full 2nd bathroom. Even we were so appreciative that it made the stay so much easier traveling with more that just 2 people. The beach was not the best swimming beach for Maui, but a delight to walk morning and evening. We had a wonderful time.

Nice place in a great location!

This property was clean and very functional. It perfectly accommodated our group of 5, with beautiful views of palm trees and sunset. Fabulous views of fireworks on NYE from balcony! We also really liked the location in Kihei, close to many good restaurants and beaches.

The unit itself was clean and well stocked. The AC in the bedroom was great as was the one in the living room. The pool was warm and no to crowded.

So we needed a place to stay for the in between time. Our condo at Maui Sunset was perfect! It had everything we needed, lots of space and a great pool area and other wonderful amenities. All the staff we encountered were so kind and helpful. It was central to the whole island which made it very convenient. And so close to all the nicest beaches and the best restaurants. We definitely enjoyed our time there and would stay there again for sure!

Great condo for everyone!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is located within walking distance to most amenities. Large enough to accommodate our family with the addition of a very comfortable Murphy Bed. The parking is plentiful and safe. The grounds allow families to enjoy not only the beach but also the large grass area and tennis courts. This location will be our choice for next year's visit to Maui.
