Great quiet end unit, easy to access with the stairwell. They have an on island contact that was fantastic with any questions and responded quickly. The place was clean and refreshing. The bed was comfortable. The lanai furniture was great. Thank you for having such a great space! I would book this unit again (I've stayed in several units in this complex). I wondered about a flashlight, or lantern for power outages. The conplex had 2 in December. Luckily it came back on after about an hour, but I did wonder if there was anything just incase... maybe people just use their cell phone lights? The place was GREAT. Mahalo!

It’s not a resort—it’s a somewhat run down condo with a pool. Its location is a little isolated. However the condo is really nice and the view of the ocean is wonderful. It’s great to walk the beach in the morning.

This place was as advertised with easy access to Kihei town fr food and fun.. Being right on the water was perfect… Long Beach walks, warm ocean water with fun waves… to 8 feet. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub too! Plan to come back to Maui and book the same spot.

Amazing views in a central location

We loved our stay at at Sugar Beach and will definitely be back as soon as possible! The unit had EVERYTHING we could possibly need and nothing we didn't. We loved having the beach chairs, and having a cooler was incredibly helpful for not only days by the pool/beach, but also days when we needed to get some groceries but weren't coming directly back to the condo. The grill area is great, building maintenance seems to clean and serviced it almost daily so it's always ready to use. The view from the Lanai is the reason we booked this condo and it did not disappoint. Even on days when winds were high, the configuration of the Lanai and the direction it faces seemed to block us from any wind. Check-in and parking was a breeze and the condo decor was tasteful. Having stayed on other parts of the island we found the location of this condo central to pretty much anything you might want to do. Can't wait to be back!

Beautiful, quiet beachfront condo - central to everything

We loved our stay at this condo at Sugar Beach Resort. It was quiet, private, and beautiful. It's so amazing to wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. It's centrally located, so made a great central location for driving to Haleakala, Iao Valley, and Kihei beaches. The mattress was great - medium-firm. The condo had a lot of supplies provided: dishwasher pods, laundry pods, dish soap, paper towel, dish sponge, hair dryer, beach towels, reusable ice packs. We used the washer/dryer for doing laundry. There was a Britta filter pitcher in the refrigerator to use. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, skim boards. Previous guests had left behind leftover sunscreen, so we didn't have to buy any ourselves. The wifi and TV, and the air conditioning worked great. The view from the lanai was incredible. We loved walking the beach. Sugar Beach Bake shop is within walking distance and has amazing malasadas and pies. The resort seemed well-kept and the beach was clean. The only negatives were it took a while to get an answer when I emailed a question to the owner ahead of the stay, but I think there was just some confusion between the owner and the property manager. I did eventually get an answer after I followed up. Also, the sink/vanity is a little small when two people are getting ready. But we would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Beautiful beach

Unit was great and had everything you could need. The beach is amazing, the sunsets from the lanai were epic. Location is great for access to all parts of the island. Only draw back was the neighbor next store who on a few nights of our stay was loudly entering and leaving her unit all hours of the night and early morning hours. Lots of loud talking in the entry way and door slamming coming and going. Definitely made sleeping a challenge given the front door is right by the bedroom.

Nice condo had everything needed. Larassia was great helped with everything we needed property has good stores for snorkeling and good sandwiche shop and bar right there. Kihea stores and restaurants also close

Another Wonderful Stay in Paradise!

This is our second time in this lovely condo! Everything was clean and beautiful, as usual. The hosts are outstanding! You can tell from the minute you walk in that they care about their home, and fill it with everything guests could want or need. The bed is comfy, the furniture is light and bright, the kitchen is well stocked, there is plenty of space, but the best part is the lanai. Watching the waves during sunset and sunrise is a memory for a lifetime. The condo is extra special because it's a corner unit and you can see all the way down Sugar Beach toward Kihei. We will be back to this very special place! We just love it!

Honeymoon at Sugar Beach!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach! The condo was clean, bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The view was spectacular, and I will miss walking the beach every morning. We will definitely be back!
