“No shampoo in washroom, no hot water in sink, towels ragged. There was a weird WiFi system that kept booting us out. Aircon is aimed directly at your head when you lie down.”

“Primeland is a small first class boutique hotel and highly recommended. Its 3 star rating belies its quality. The only drawback is that the very clean standard double rooms, although very well appointed, are small.  This can easily be overcome by booking a twin room (for a few pounds more) and requesting the removal of the single bed. The breakfast is limited but quite adequate and the lunch / dinner menu extensive for the size of the hotel.  The grilled Nile Perch is highly recommended as is...

“Hotellet har fantastiskt trevlig personal och man blir så väl bemött! Dessutom går vinsten av hotellet till en skola som ligger bredvid där föräldralösa och andra utsatta barn får gå. Maten var också jättegod! Jag rekommenderar varmt det här hotellet.”

“The garden area felt like a little slice of paradise with bunnies running around freely helping to maintain the grass - as well as donkeys. Monkeys were climbing in the trees, and occasionally a large turtle would cross the lawn. The place itself was very calming and the staff sweet and helpful.”

“The rooms have European standards, and the hotel is small and intimate. A real gem! Highly recommended! Good security, on site parking for free. The rooms are spacious and clean, but of course; this is Tanzania, so hot water and wifi might not be top notch at all times, so don't rely on the wifi for work for example. Benson at the reception was very helpful, and works as a concierge if you need to. Don't think twice - book this one, I'll book it for my next trip to Moshi for sure! ”

“I stayed one night upon arrival to Moshi. I was warmly greeted late at night. Check in was super easy. They take a copy of your passport. My room - even though I’d booked a single - was much larger and had a double & single beds. Room was clean and tidy with enough plugs for charging your gadgets. There were toiletries including toothbrushes, soap, shampoo & lotion. Breakfast was included and I even got a nice chef-made omelette. They have a nice sitting area by the pool or you can sit inside....

“Otroligt trevlig hotell i ett lungt område i Moshi nära ett antal bra restauranger med taxi eller Tuc Tuc. Värdigt trevlig och gästvänlig personal som läser de mesta önskemål. Perfekt ställe för utflykter i Kilimanjaro-området, Safari eller bara softa vid poolen. ”

“really nice resort place to stay around kilimanjaro area. Every nice room and garden, 25 hours warm water for shower. Food is good and local and western options. Staff very helpful and friendly. Definitely need to check out this place when you come to kilimanjaro area for a relaxing stay.”
