“We stayed here the first night in Scotland, travelling by car around Scotland. It was a nice hotel, but if you really should enjoy it you must know that it is a place for horse people! We had a lovely room with a view of the outdoor jumping arena. The restuarant is located in the horse center, and has windows towards two indoor horse arenas. The hotel, breakfast and food are good. The location is perfect if you, like us used it when exploring the suroundings by car.”

“We had the best stay possible at Knockderry House. The hotel and the location were beautiful, but the best part was definitely the service from the staff. We were blown away by how kind and helpful they were in every single way. Already looking forward to our next visit! Would recommend this place to anyone!”

“A good hotel with of potential. A very unfriendly receptionist (female) in the morning when we were about to extend our stay. I had to raise my voice to get what we had been promissed. Strange! The breakfast was poor and had a small selection which we found was a little strange because of the ratings. We were also very sad about that we were not allowed to bring any food to the room from outside of the hotel?!”

“Best Western was conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the University of Glasgow. In the area there was several really good restaurants, inlcuding Michelin star mentioned Ox and Finch wich was a dream come true for a hungry traveler. I was staying in a room on the first floor facing the back yard and it was very quiet so no problem there. The bathroom had a funky smell, almost like it had the presence of mold in the floor or underneeth the shower cabin. So had the wentilation on at all...
