Enfamiljshus, fantastisk utsikt över bergen, åka till dörren

Koppla av i avskildheten i ett enskilt hem under din vistelse på Sugarloaf, i det lugna men bekväma West Mountain-området. Njut av en spektakulär utsikt över hela Bigelow Mountain Range från nästan alla rum i denna tre våning, 2000 kvadratmeter hus.

Ligger cirka 500 meter från West Mountain Trail, med normala snöförhållanden kan du åka skidor till dörren på en korskorsad stig, eller ta pendelbussen (endast skidsäsongssäsong) direkt till basstugområdet. Ring shuttle till gratis service till restauranger och klubbar på kvällen. Snöskor eller nordisk skidor från dörren eller få tillgång till Outdoor Center's 105 km preparerade spårsystem. Golfklubbhuset ligger cirka 10 minuters promenad bort.

Huvudplanet är bekväma och rymliga, nästan helt öppna, vilket gör att du får en stor exponering för vintersolen. Vardagsrummet har bekväma soffor och en stor vedspis som kan öppnas för att se elden som en öppen spis. Även på bottenvåningen finns matplats, fullt utrustat kök, entréområde och halvbadkar.


Huset: Gå in i huset från verandan och gå in i entréområdet. Huvudvåningen på öppet koncept har vardagsrum, matplats, kök och halvt badrum.

Den lägre nivån har ett sovrum med två enkelsängar och en rullande säng, ett badrum, ett familjerum med dubbel futon och ett tvättstuga.

Den övre nivån har två sovrum (alla med en dubbelsäng) och ett badrum.


West Mountain stollyft & pendelbuss: West Mountain-stolen har helger och skolvaktsveckor, från 08:00 till 15:00. Du kan åka skidor till dörren oavsett om West Mountain stolen körs eller inte.
Dessutom går en gratis pendelbuss genom huset enligt ett schema (var 20–30 minut) från 08.00 till 17.00 på helger och semesterveckor för att ta dig direkt till basstugan på morgonen eller till restauranger och butiker vid andra tillfällen .. Det kör också ett schema andra dagar och tider eller är tillgängligt genom att ringa 237-6853. Lämna din bil parkerad i uppfarten för hela din vistelse!

We really enjoyed our vacation in this spacious open plan house. We entertained our family and everyone had plenty of room to sit in the comfortable living areas. The family room in the lower level is well equipped for fun and relaxation for all ages. After a busy day we appreciated the comfortable beds. We made many memories during our stay and hope to return next summer.

Great location right on the mountain, easy to ski down to the house, which was cozy and had everything you need. We had a memorable trip and will try to book this place again if it’s available!

Amazing home for a ski getaway

Ski vacation stay with friends and this location did not disappoint! Plenty of room with multiple common areas and skiing support to lifts was also good. The house is well stocked and having a wood burning stove was great. The host was very responsive with answers to questions. We will be looking at this location again for our next Sugarloaf trip!

A bit of Carrabassett magic

Great location. The photos of the views don’t do it justice. House was well stocked and very cozy. Proximity to all that Carrabassett has to offer is great! Only feedback I have is beds are not super comfy. Would stay again!

Ski Getaway

The property was wonderful. Kitchen was open with all that we needed. Beds were comfortable. We loved the wood stove and rockers in front. House was neat and clean. We were blessed with some new snow and so had an excellent time skiing both alpine and cross country. Peter was responsive when there was 10 inches of snow falling. We recommend the place highly.

Perfect spot to stay for a fabulous ski week!

We really enjoyed this particular location. It was private, quiet and close to the mountain. Loved the shuttle bus pick up and drop off! House had all of the necessary amenities, and more! The skiing was amazing! We were gifted 32" of snow graced our arrival...driveway was plowed and all! Hope to return again! Jill, Blaine and the fam..

Beautiful and cozy ski week

Our family and our friends family stayed comfortably here for the week. The home is beautiful and spacious. Kids had their own space in the lower level away from adults. We skied in and out onto the West Mountain Trail. Heads up that it’s a bit of work to get out and into the trail - requiring some skating. For little and boarders this will be a bit challenging. Home has everything needed for a comfy ski getaway. I’m bookmarking to stay here again.

Great West Mountain Home

We have been Sugarloafer's for 30+ years and have always stayed mid-mountain or off of Wiffletree. This was our first time staying at West Mountain and we were really pleasantly surprised at the location, convenience, and comfort. The house was wonderful and really sets up nicely for a family with adults and children who can be on a different level than the adult. The kids had their space and the adults had their own space. Getting to and from the mountain was easy and the entire home was really well stocked!! we would definitely book again.

Charming house on the hidden jam of Sugaloaf West Mountain

Two families with teenagers just enjoyed a relaxing ski vacation here. The house is very welcoming and cozy, with open common space we could hangout. Nicely stocked kitchen made us felt like home. The internet connection was pretty good with all of our devices going at the same time. Other set up in the house are also very convenient and homey. It gave us the feeling of a well-loved house with a lot of stories. Peter the owner was very responsive to our questions. The snow plow service was also responsive. The location was not labeled as ski-in-and-out but we were pleasantly surprised it’s really convenient to get to the slope. First, there is shuttle service stop right in front of the house every half and hour to and from the base lodge. Second, we can hike a few minutes to the green trail right under the West Mountain Chair. Coming back there is a stretch of blue trail at the top but it is super fun coming down all the way on the long and wide slope. We all had a great time here.

Spring Skiing at Sugarloaf

This is a great ski house. It has breathtaking views and great light. It is beautifully appointed and has an excellent kitchen that is much better equipped than the usual rental. There is also a tuning bench in the utility room. We always bring our tuning gear but often there is not a warm , dry place to wax and sharpen our skis. The owners are clearly serious about skiing and have created a space to maintain gear. This is a ski off location. you can ski from the mountain to the dooryard. On weekdays the best route to skiing is a short shuttle bus ride from the foot of the driveway, leaving every half hour. Maybe next spring lifts will be running every day to get to the resort, this year it was ski on on weekends only. There is a wood stove and a freestanding gas fireplace. It's a big space with different places for small groups to form around fires or puzzles. The wifi works; there are multiple TV's. Warm, no drafts, plenty of hot water. Everything is about right for a ski vacation.

Very nice unit

I would recommend this to anyone looking for three bedrooms. It also has a couple of significant sitting areas. Very well lit with natural light. Big Kitchen allows multiple people to cook at the same time.

Perfect place for our getaway, 6 adults

The space is perfect for a ski vacation. The mud room keeps gear contained, and the living areas are well laid out and comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice! Would def stay there again. Oh, and the ski shuttle literally stops at the end of the driveway.
